We have had plenty of evil antagonists in the show but now we have something new. The real shield are not bad guys. They are not Hydra or criminals. They are fellow shield agents questioning how things are being run. Basically Coulson in season one. We met Weaver (the woman) at the Academy in 1x12. Antagonists that are not bad and have beliefs about Coulson that we may or may not agree with. I agree with them that there are too many secrets being kept from everyone which is causing communication issues but it feels like they are too harsh on Coulson because they are just so distrustful of anything after both the Avengers (which made them fear aliens) and Winter Soldier which made them fear their own agents and the leadership. Coulson is both something alien and an agent in charge doing secret things so red flags all around for them.

Coulson has so much on his plate and thank god Hunter got out of there like they do have valid concerns about Coulson he didn't tell anyone but May about his condition, Skye is unaffected by the writings and got powers just so much
