I remember seeing this with my dad in my last year of college, it was one of those movies that really sticks with you. This movie really shook me at the time. It shows how war changes people. That tank crew was probably a lot nicer at the start of the war compared with how they were 3 years later in 1945. Also hey Lucious Malfoy is playing a good guy. Very rarely do you see Jason Issacs not the villain, it's the star wars Grand Inquisitor himself. From what I've read the American Sherman tank kind gets a bad rap. It was not a bad tank. Early in the war the Sherman tanks had a problem of bursting into flames because of the tank ammo "cooking off" from fires when hit. The tank designers fixed this problem putting the tank ammo (the shells) lower into the tank where they were less likely to get hit. They also stored the tank shells in water, which decreased the chance that a fire would detonate the tank shell ammunition. So by 1945 it was a much safer tank. But despite the fact they fixed the biggest flaw of the tank it still had a bad reputation from earlier in the war. In reality the Sherman tanks actually had a pretty high survival rate. My one complaint about this movie is that each time an American tank is hit the whole crew dies. Usually though when a tank is hit some of the crew escapes. All those other American tanks that were knocked out should have had some survivors. But that's a minor gripe. Anyway thanks for watching this Imon, it's a great movie, but it's tough to watch.

This is by far the most raw and sincere reaction to Fury I’ve seen. Thank you for responding with such empathy and understanding. War is never something anyone asks for. It’s a burden forced upon ordinary people who are simply trying to survive the chaos. The soldiers caught in it are holding on to one another, fighting to endure and to protect the lives beside them.

This movie is intense, I've seen it a few times over the years, it has a great cast, there's a great bond between them. Shia LaBeouf is one of my favorites in this, I really like his character. It's sad for Norman, it's sad for all of them, it's just we see Norman experiencing it for the first time while the rest of them have already been through it, hardened by it. After Normans first task of cleaning the tank he falls to the ground by what he's seen, he then look's up and sees the truck with the cross and maybe he starts to feel a wee bit of hope. But as the truck passes him he sees the soldiers that were lost fighting. He must have felt so lost. Later he meets Emma and they were able to spend time together and forget what was happening around them, to be close with someone, to feel safe. Their time together was sweet, Norman played the piano, Emma sang, they both smiled. He must have started to feel that maybe there is an end to all the fighting, and when it's all over Emma might be out there somewhere living her life, and maybe one day he might get to see her again, but sadly that's not what happens. I thought your reaction to this was so beautiful and heartfelt, I knew it would make you cry, but that's just because you always care so much. You have so much love in your heart. I love what you said at the end about the men. "This one was different, and it was more impactful than I could've imagined. There's a lot of warmth in this movie with a lot of killing, and death, and cold, and scary stuff. But there was warmth, and there was love. They were a family, that was there home." The way you talk, always so bonnie. <3
