They changed the title credits for this episode to make Jenna the Doctor and not Peter

Bright Episode? Have you not seen Capaldi's attack eyebrows!? Even him being nice is still kinda frightening lol Loved this finale, there's so much to unpack! But I think the thing to remember when you talk about Clara unravelling it's because she was handpicked by Missy! Picked for the doctor because of, well various reasons inc her personality etc her and the doctor becoming more and more the same meaning they keep almost provoking each other into more and more extreme behaviours, like addicts (end of the orient express episode scenes) two similar addicts pushing each other again and again, Danny's (first) death then sent her over the edge so to speak and cue this finale lol From the impossible girl to this Clara's development is pretty deep when you consider all she's gone through.

Often overlooked and quite forgotten about, but since the classic series, The Master has powerful hypnotic psychic abilities. Series 3 with Martha Jones had some of this when The Master was Harold Saxon, I just figure with the guards she hypnotized them when she was singing her little song.

I love the intense and toxic relationship Clara and 12 have. It's unique and something we haven't seen with other companions.

In Classic Doctor Who, the 3rd Doctor (John Pertwee) is stranded on earth by the Time Lords (Tardis disabled) and takes the job of UNIT Science advisor working under Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (Kate's Dad). The Brig was associated with a number of the future Doctors, and this final salute (finally) was very moving for us old-timers!
