This episode is so much fun and in a large way calls back to the OG series. Alpha Centauri is the creature shown on the screen and is from a 3rd Doctor story 'The Curse of Peladon' with John Pertwee as Doctor #3. That was the story that introduced the Ice Warriors. I have so totally enjoyed this journey with you in seeing these episodes for the first time in your eyes, and look towards it continuing. I can't say more except to say ...'spoilers, sweetie'

Lee Gannon

The Curse of Peladon was actually the third appearance of the Ice Warriors. They had previously appeared in two Patrick Troughton stories. Although it was the first story where they appeared as good guys.
