Do you remember the time and space docu-movie thing for the 50th anniversary? You've now seen all three main characters! Obviously the first doctor was in Capaldi's finale, the actress who played Verity was the lady in 'Hide' (the Matt Smith episode that was the ghost story that turns out to be a love story) and Verity's director in the film...now the Master! So even that movie turned out to be timey wimey! I think Bartlett's evil guy monologue towards end is excellent, it's really on the mark and on point. And yeah this one is also a good history lesson! Ava and the spy are important historical figures, learning while we have fun eh! lol As you can see, this Master is chaotic and I love it lol This really sets the stall out for any episode he's now in, you're like OK the insanity is about to go up to ten let's go! How are you finding Jodie as the Doctor btw? Not as in storylines etc but just her in how she's playing the role?

Not Emme just dissing the first ever computer. Yes Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace created the first ever thinking machine

What the Master is made for: "When I kill them, Doctor, it gives me a little buzz, right here -- [fist on chest] in the hearts. It's like, how would I describe it, like knowing I'm in the right place, doing what I was made for." I don't think the Master has ever been more frightening than this!

I really like that ending shot of the Doctor in blue lights with the amber/yellow of the TARDIS behind her. Very striking. There are so many emotions playing on her face.

Erasing the memories of Noor and Ada is very sad -- especially when Ada begs the Doctor not to do it! But I guess it's better that we know that Ada's brilliance and Noor's bravery is all them and not due to the Doctor's influence.

i like jodie! i think her doctor personality and really all of the companions are a bit hard to highlight with how many main characters there currently are. it always takes me a bit to warm up to the new doctor, but i do feel like for her it's been especially challenging just because of how many main characters there are. i really feel like the only character i have a strong sense of right now is graham

Yeah I hear you, I think it’s a common comment, Jodie is great as the Doctor 🙌 but when we spent so long with the Doctor mostly having one companion suddenly having a group of four is a big change and yeah Yaz and Ryan do get a bit lost I feel in some episodes, but yeah Graham is excellent 👏

Dylan

The Doctor proclaiming herself as a pacifist is kind of hilarious.
