I haven't watched your reaction yet but im really excited about this one for you. Also welcome to my home city. I meet jodie and she was so lovely Update: facts that jo martin give about the coronation is true and so is Harry Potter. She forgot to mention they also filmed David Tennent Christmas special (the next doctor) it’s where the Tardis lands and he walks around up until he hears doctor. The only thing filmed in Gloucester considering it’s meant to be in Gloucester is the cathedral and nothing else 😂 makes me laugh every time because I know they filmed around the city centre as I saw it and non of it got used from what I can see but I try to stay away from the city centre.

Your reaction to Jack was so good lol And accurate! Everyone freaked out when this aired, you kinda recgonise the voice but you're like nah can't be...then he shows up and it's like 'NO.... WAY!!' lol Cause he's not been in since Tennant era so you have no reason to expect him to turn up episode five all these years later, but it's such a good moment when he does, your reaction was on point for sure. Ruth is a badass! Although you know you were saying that she was mean you do kinda wonder if that's how the Doctor appears to new people as well...esp during the Capaldi era lol Shout out to the barista though who kept a dossier lmao But yeah when you see the title you think ah ok it'll be decent but I imagine similar kind of episode to Martha's first one in the hospital but deal lord is this episode insane in every good way.

That 360 drone shot that circles the lighthouse as the Doctor steps out onto the balcony is amazing. The visuals of this season and the last, there's something about it that I just love. Beautiful. Love the Fugitive Doctor's TARDIS interior. Such a great take on the classic design. Jo Martin is terrific both as Ruth and the Doctor. She has great presence as the Doctor, and it's such a different presence from what Ruth has!
