I been watching now and then your reactions and the final episode of doctor who was a final dig at the fans like the show runner RTD is saying final f you to the fans like saying oh if you want woke doctor who stay on I will keep being same old characters to brainwash your kids that how he was thinking for years but I am sad there no more doctor who but I think it needs a break from the tv so when it comes back it hopefully it will be like 2005 all over again.

Spoiler-y Tidbits - The ending was reshot after the Disney deal fell through. Originally poopy was supposed to end up actually being the doctors daughter. The original ending for the episode was going to be poppy and Susan (his granddaughter) walking off together watching the doctor and Belinda celebrating May Day from a distance with Susan saying something to poppy indicating she was her mother. But alas we will not know, and now the show is in tinder meaning we don’t know who will make the next episodes but they’re eyeing a ~2028 release with calls from the BBC to make it more or less a restart for the series Ala 2005. We’re probably never going to get an answer to why rose showed up at the end 🤷🏻‍♂️ But this was awesome, it was wonderful watching this series along with you again, and I can’t wait to see what comes next 💙💙

The weird thing with this season finale was that the regeneration at the end came as a total surprise. Normally you knew beforehand when a Doctor-actor would leave at the end of a season. This time they kept it a secret until the episode was out, no hints, no nothing. Inititally there was a christmas special planned for this year, but they scrapped it.
