Current Star Wars Rebels Reaction list (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your feedback on my last post, it was so appreciated!

I have decided to watch Rebels before the Mandalorian!

I am going to be taking an abbreviated approach, similar to how I did with Clone Wars, although it seems the consensus from my last post is that most episodes are worth watching in Rebels which is totally fair! This is the working list I have of episodes I will be watching and filming reactions to. If you guys comment episodes that should be added and more than one person suggests it I wouldn't mind adding to this list!

So, I know with Clone Wars I included two or more episodes in the same video, but I felt that made sense since those episodes happened in arcs consisting of 2-4 episodes per arc. With Bad Batch and Rebels I think I may stick with one episode per video except for when there are obvious labeled two parters like how I illustrated in this list. There were a couple instances where I paired two Clone Wars episodes in the same video that weren't related to each other and that kind of bothered me, personally. I know it may seem like a step down in terms of progress but I think it makes most sense to present it this way, and also, it will help me get ahead of editing since it won't be as time consuming for one video. Meaning that I can get further ahead on Patreon and also won't feel stressed/crunched for time always. But yeah! Let me know if I am missing any important episodes in this list. Thank you!!!

When are you watching Return Of The Jedi? I'm all for all the side material but I'm worried someone will drop a spoiler in some comment somewhere.

Looks pretty good! There’s only a handful I would add back in (for spoilery reasons so you’ll just have to take my word for it lolz): S2E12 S3E12 & 13 (two-part ep) S3E18 Since you’re watching everything (mostly) in timeline order and have seen some of the Disney+ shows those episodes will be very interesting for you I think. Hope you enjoy Rebels, its best episodes are some of the best SW media period :)

Yeah, I'd agree to the above recommendations. My list of recommended additions beyond them: season 2: 13-15, and season 3: 7 and 11.

Definitely the right decision. There is a lot of Mandalorian lore in Rebels, just as in Clone Wars (worth reacting to all Mandalore Rebels episodes ). It’ll really help you understand things more when you get to The Mandalorian series later on. Series 3 of The Mandalorian is also out in February (I think) so you might be able to time it just right.

there's a lot more stuff mid season 2 and 3 that I would add, and a bit in 4 as well. S2: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 (especially that one) and maybe 16. S3: 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, possibly 17 as well S4: 3, 4, 6, 7. this may be a lot to add but there's a lot of stuff here that is important for a bunch of other shows. and just the storyline as a whole

Btw, I’d recommend watching the whole show in your own time and using this just as a list for which ones to make reaction vids for. There are some episodes that feel like filler but become more important later on and are kinda necessary to follow the ongoing story. I wouldn’t skip any episodes on an initial watch-through.

Add Episode 10 of season 2 - "The Future of the Force". Episode 12 - "A Princess on Lothal". They’ll be good to react to. First episode is great and the second will make you smile! Agree with adding season 3 eps 15 and 16 as well as adding 18 for an important character.

Glad you followed our advice! I'm a little disappointed you won't do multiple episodes to a video, since that'll take longer and I'm excited to quickly get your reactions, but I understand :P Agreed with all the added suggestions so far, especially Season 3 ep 15/16. That's one of the reason we had you watch Rebels before Mandalorian.

I forgot how many episodes are in Rebels. I feel like there are significant gaps in the list here. Though it's been a long time since I've watched through it and am not sure which episodes are the most relevant.

Season 3 Episode 6 "The Lost Battle". Not an important episode but has some nostalgia that you might like.

Season 3 Episode 15 & 16 - There is some important lore in these episodes, and probably could be considered the same storyline.

Season 2 Episode 10 The Future of the Force - Definitely one you will absolutely love. One of my favorites and someone we all love from the Clone Wars shows up. Season 2 Episode 12 A Princess on Lothal - Has an OG character come in that everyone loves. Season 3 Episode 6 The Last Battle - Clone Wars nostalgia. Nuff said Season 3 Episode 15 Trials of the Darksaber and Season 3 Episode 16 Legacy of Mandalore - Learn about the history of the dark saber and a bit more about the Mandalorians. Definitely a 2 part episode that I absolutely love personally Most of the episodes are filler episodes. The ones you have listed are definitely vital to the story, but I just added a few more that I feel are important and great to watch as well. I'm looking forward to your reactions to this series.

I just checked and Season 4 Episodes 3 and 4 (two parter) have some important content.

Season 2 episode 7, wings of the master (because Hera is awesome) As well as the entirety of season 4 because it's awesome too haha

I second the motion for 2.7 "Wings of the Master" because Hera is awesome. On a related note, I'd like to suggest 2.16 "Homecoming" and 3.4 "Hera's Heroes" (which also has my all-time favorite Chopper moment).

s2 ep 16 homecoming is a great follow-up to the bad batch Hera episode alongside s3 ep5 heras heroes

It's a good list, but I do recommend adding these episodes; S3 Ep4, S3 Ep 10, S3 Ep 17, S4 Eps 3 and 4, S4 Eps 5,6,7,8,9. These are all pretty important for the characters. Also with S4, you'll notice that it all feels like one connected story, so it is better to watch all of those episodes. S3, Ep 17 is pretty important for the characters as well as the rest of S3, as is S3, Ep 10 and 4.
