Okay, this makes it official. THE FIRST EVER OLOGIES SHOW is in New York at the Bell House on Monday, Nov. 17.

Tickets went on sale today but ONLY for Patrons! Here's the presale link: https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/30006345FA86634E

Tickets for general public go on sale 10/9 but this advance link is live now! I am so excited to pilot this show idea and see everyone. I've been sketching it out and we'll be having a wacky time together, friends.

So excited for those of you who get to go! I'm in Aotearoa New Zealand so it's very not possible for me, but if you ever choose to come down here for a show I'll be there! We've got lots of weird things here you can talk about. We have fun birds - one time a large flightless parrot who looks like a distinguished gentleman (a kakapo) tried to have sexual relations with Stephen Fry's cameraman, for example. Plus we have an outrageously large insect called the weta. Once I found one in my letterbox (wetabox?). You'd be welcome down here!

They record The Guilty Feminist live in front of an audience, usually kicking off with a funny “I’m a feminist, but…” following a self deprecation that isn’t the most feminist. Then they dive into a theme with guests who have done something really feminist or inspiring, mix in some stand up or storytelling, and keep it all super conversational. They also always tie it back to something meaningful, like promoting a cause, nonprofit, or activist doing real work. It is this perfect mix of comedy, community, and purpose.

Oh no, I was just looking back at the event info at the venue and it says it’s 21+! I have a ticket for my 19 year old sister, will be a little devastated if she can’t come. On the general event page it says some events allow under 21 admission with an adult- do we know if this show would allow that? It doesn’t specify.
