Thanks for all the hard work bringing Ologies to life. Might I suggest the topic of "Musicology" as a podcast?

Hey Ms. Ward. Thanks for making this podcast happen. Love the format and the information and the edumication. Keep it real.

Alie, I️ love the show so much & have been telling people about it left and right! The facts you can take from them are the best. You get the best info out of people. Keep up the awesome work. :) The only thing I️ think could be helpful is to have some sort of transition/cue between the parts where you cut in w editing and explain things to help us understand better. I️ love those segments and find them so helpful, but sometimes I️ get confused where they start and the interview begins again. (For an example, it’s that thing they do on Politically Reactive w the ‘Hold up, wait a minute’ part)

I enjoy the narration bits that come during the editing phase. I feel like they enrich the prodcast. A few other comments have touched on having delimiters for the segment switch; maybe a sound effect or a safeword. I agree that you bring out the best in people, and your interviewing is on point. I feel like it is curiousity and passion that drives each person that you have interviewed, and the same curiousity drives us to listen. At the end of each episode, it seems like we have gotten to know the field and the person better. I love that it is able to satisfy my questions and curiousity. It is like Google for a podcast. The questions and surveying the listeners is awesome and keeps us engaged in the process. Keep doing what you do!

I like the suggestion(s) about inserting a sound cue right before an editorial/exposition aside. Like, a little owl hoot or something (OWLogies?!) to signal there’s a Ward pop-in happening. Visually I see a tiny Alie pooping into the margin to drop science. **BREAKING: I’ve just been informed this is not a visual medium. I’m not saying it’s confusing as-is, because it’s not. But I am thinking a sound might save you from feeling like you have to explain why you’re cutting in. We hear the sound, we know what’s up. Anywhoooo (more owl puns = better comment), might be worth a try. Or might be a terrible idea. Whooooo knows. Owl leave it to your better judgment, of course.
