HAAAALLOOOOOO!

Aestaology is not real but maybe it should be? Here's a mini ep about watermelon, water fights, chillin, grillin, and glowy bug butts. Enjoy, kiddos and stay cool and KIT.

Side question: what's your favorite thing about summer?

MINISODE: Aestaology (SUMMER) should be a word

Melons. Fire. Waterfights. It's finally summer and Alie's into it. So with this solo mini-ep, learn about a few ologies that are not real but should be such as aestaology (summer) & hydropolemology (waterfights). Also discussed: a few ologies that are in fact real, like cucurbitology (melons), pyrotechnology (humans chillin' and grillin' around a fire) and lampyridology (fireflies.)

Being from the Seattle area, my favorite part of summer are the views and hiking the mountain hikes that are too snowy most of the year.

The Summer sounds, the different bug noises at night, thunderstorms, and being able to have the windows open. Those are a few of my favorite things.

Rachel Barth

My favorite thing is how late it stays light. Also ice cream, but that's a year round thing for me.

The best thing about this specific summer was discovering Ologies. Also walking around barefoot and bike rides

Open windows and sitting on the porch with a drink and conversation. Summer is my jam.

I was once able to spend part of my summer in Finland, where the sun barely sets. All night parties with a bunch of happy people. Best summer ever.

Barbecues, even though the anticipation always is better and you end up thinking "never eating again." I would make an exception though I generally changed to vegan diet this year. But I reverted in some aspects anyway and barbecue wasn't a topic this year, yet.

The sun going down late leading to that glorious time of day when the sun drops below the horizon and the light seems to come from everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

Being from a college town, all the undergrads leave and it’s peaceful at the university around the lab.

More on ancient man using fire (please please please let that be an ology). And maybe a bible-ology!! That Lucifer naming sounds like something I would totally dig. Maybe a bible-as-in-literature-ologist. I’m sure that’s a thing. K. Love you. Byeeeeee.

My favorite part of summer is the fruit - strawberries and nectarines, specifically.

Open windows? Not here in NE Illinois. Nothing but AC all summer. Me wife hates the heat with a passion. I quite like the summer myself. Peeny Wallies! They rock. And cicadas. Crickets, too. I love insects.
