Duuuuude. This one is nuts. On one hand, Drs. Erin who host This Podcast Will Kill You are brilliant, passionate about their work and amazingly charming. On the other: PLAGUES. 

I've been stoked about recording this for months and I hope you enjoy. There's so much information and I groan literally maybe one thousand times.

Listening to this in 2023 is so bizarre! Predictions that we could have a pandemic of flu. Discussion of how SARS avoided becoming a pandemic, knowing that it's meaner little brother SARS CoV 2 was less than 2 years away when this was recorded is a bit surreal.

Hey Allie! Love the show! I have a real quick clarifications about RNA RNA can form double helixes, and can be double stranded. A double stranded RNA virus would be a Class III under the Baltimore classification system. Second clarification, RNA IS the genetic material of RNA viruses. I absolutely loved this episode!
