Dear Patrons,

In my last update, I foolishly suggested that Belisarius Part 1 might be ready for its Patreon release on Thursday! Unfortunately it's going to take a few more days to finalise music and artwork. In the meantime, here's a work-in-progress teaser of the series opener (apologies for the  rough audio levels). I hope you enjoy!

Take as long as you need! We all want Belisarius but only when you are ready to release it!

Swagalag

Thank you for your hard work! However the video link seems to be dead

Kristian Hagberg

It doesn't seem to work if you're on your phone. But worked just fine when I startet it on my PC. :) Great work. Looking forward to the full thing! :D

Rodger Murphy

I love to see you guys branching out covering new topics. As much as i would have enjoyed Napoleon videos forever. Thank you for the amazing educational works. Oh and i hope the HMS Victory video is still in the works. I would eagerly anticipate that one

EpicHistoryTV

Thanks Justin. Hmm the video link seems to be working ok from here - sometimes the Vimeo/Patreon connection takes a few minutes to kick in. Can you let me know if it's still not working in a few minutes?

EpicHistoryTV

Possibly an issue for phones, as per Kristian's comment, but should fix itself shortly.

EpicHistoryTV

Thanks Rodger! Yes HMS Victory very much part of my plans - it's had to go onto a backburner for a few months, but rest assured, I have a very detailed script ready to roll, that will delight anyone who enjoyed Master & Commander..

CNN BREAKING NEWS: GLOBAL INSTABILITY SOARS TO NEW HEIGHTS AS EHTV’S BELISARIUS VIDEO IS DELAYED INDEFINITELY! UN TASK-FORCE TO DISCUSS CONTINGENCIES AMID GROWING PUBLIC DEMAND FOR EHTV’S UPCOMING RELEASE.

EpicHistoryTV

It will be with you in a matter of days. And I'm definitely not just saying that to calm the markets..

Dan Jaggers

I'm already psyched from the trailer, I cannot wait to see how the first part unfolds. I do have a small nitpick though, calling him Rome's Last Great General doesn't really have that much of a punch to it, I think that "Last of the Romans" might be more fitting, but that's just my opinion.

Ian Simpkins

Extremely excited for this! More than happy to wait as long as it takes for this to be polished :)

EpicHistoryTV

Thanks Lysaniel! Last of the Romans or the Last Roman is a term often used about Belisarius, it might well make an appearance elsewhere in the series! But for the intro, I wanted something a little less poetical and more descriptive, for those who've not heard of him before..
