Congrats on 300k! Maybe the world IS full of smart & intelligent people with curious minds!!

Congrats guys! I think I started following when it was like 30K or something like that. As for Dark Star, I grew up on that. Had an original VHS copy that probably got worn out from watching so much. Have the latest Blu Ray which has some good special features these days. The comedy is dark, but it is there. I find it hilarious that all the nude pictures are on the wall (though blurred) and this moved gets a G rating.......lol. And the beachball alien just cracks me up. So many callbacks to earlier science fiction, mainly 2001 A Space Odyssey. Again, I know it isn't everybody's cup of tea, but I still enjoy this move. Carpenter did better and so did O'Bannon, but it isn't bad for what it is. That cat rules BTW!

Thanks! That's crazy-you've really been following the channel for a long time! That's so cool that you have a VHS copy of Dark Star! Did you happen to find the 'Fuck You, Harris' easter egg that they cut out of the DVD version? I can totally see why it has a big cult following–the music and special effects work so well together to create a vibe like no other!

Hey. Yeah, I have been following since 2016 I think? Maybe earlier. My life has been all sorts of fucked up the last few years (GD Pandemic, a fucking divorce and my Mom almost dying from colon issues), so I don't remember. I do remember when you really started to hit it big and that was when you did that video about Stalker by Tarkovsky. That is one of my very favorite films, along with Once Upon A Time In The West. I think that video is your biggest by far. As for the VHS easter egg, no, don't remember it. I still find irony though, in those naked chicks on the wall, but blurred up close and G rating HA HA HA
