GERD: A digestive disease in which stomach acid or bile irritates the food pipe lining. This is a chronic disease that occurs when stomach acid or bile flows into the food pipe and irritates the lining. Acid reflux and heartburn more than twice a week may indicate GERD. Symptoms include burning pain in the chest that usually occurs after eating and worsens when lying down.

Jennifer Lawrence

Also, not a ton in this show gets me as bad as Bailey breaking down as she always has this tough front. She was always a favorite character for me too. She was so no nonsense lol

Daphne O'Reilly

GERD is like an extreme form of acid reflux and its horrible (I have it and suffer every day lmao)

For the part where it was revealed that Yang worked with a fever, I can relate to that. I went to work one time with no symptoms at all, and then 6 hours into my 8-hour shift, I spiked a 102.6 fever with chills all of a sudden. I went home when the shift was done and basically passed out on my bed. The next morning, I got a COVID test, and it was positive.

My top 3 list is the same as yours to this point 1. Bailey 2. George 3. Yang Christina's acting is phenomenal she's the best actor on the show and that's saying something because they are some pretty big names In the show

As someone with a chronic illness, I often don't tell people when I'm having procedures done or when I'm in the hospital unless it's bad. I mean, my husband will know. But I don't tell my parents or siblings. After awhile, it becomes so routine and you feel like a burden. And being honest, it sometimes is an actual burden.

I have a friend that has been living with terminal illnesses for years now. She avoids the conversation about it completely. She’s been living with it and deteriorating for so long that she’s simply tiring of talking about it and hates how people treat her as a result. Audrey and I are part of the only few of her friends that don’t do that and she gets such a relief from it.

Alicia

Hahaha as one of Audrey's people I concur, she needs to watch it!

Love that you are watching this. I’ve rewatched a bunch of times but I love watching with people for the first time. I also finally started watching House. While I prefer greys, it’s really good. Just started season 3

bea halonen

Just binged all of these. I can see it's kind of growing on you. Looking forward to crying with you more lol

As the granddaughter of someone with Alzheimer’s and a nurse who has taken care of Alzheimer’s patients; we were originally taught to reorient them out of their delusions. Now, however as long as they are safe and not scared we let them stay in it. One time I had a patient tell me they were at the casino and my response was “are you winning”

Shani Gribben

I always tell people when I’m having surgery but I always refuse visitors outside of my parents and maybe my grandparents until I’m back out of the hospital
