Demi singing "Anyone" at the Grammys touches my soul. Her strength there is undeniable. That song makes me cry everytime I hear it. I relate so much! I would DEFINITELY watch the Dancing with the Devil music video. It really takes you through that moment in her life and the lyrics are heartbreaking. Warrior and Skyscraper are songs that I've put on when I need a reminder that I am strong. Lyrically, she has some amazing work since her OD. Her album Holy Fvck is so much harder rock than her other albums but is AMAZING! Also, it cracked me up that you kept saying "Holy fuck" through this documentary.

Thanks for doing this docuseries, Danny! When you cry, my heart just breaks though, and I just wanna give you the biggest hug! I love that you wear your heart on your sleeve, and I think the world would be a better place with more people like you in it! And I just adore Audrey! She's amazing…I love messing with her on the Live Streams! 😂 I'm the SFAS “resident smartass”. Anyway, as Heida mentioned, if you wanna do a deeper dive into Demi’s history, there are two other documentaries you can check out (SIDENOTE: I only use two different pronouns for Demi because she came out a few years ago as Non-Binary, then about a year after that, they/she changed pronouns BACK to align with Female gender; therefore, PLEASE no one come at me, because Demi switched, then switched back, SO I will sometimes use both or one or another anytime, not just this post, when I speak about them/her. No DISRESPECT is intended AT ALL!), and they both go in-depth on their/her childhood backstory, as well as their/her issues with addiction, mental disorders, self-harm & ED. The first one came out in 2012, and it's about 40 minutes long. Although it originally aired on MTV, you can stream it on YT. Next up, is Simply Complicated, which you can also find on YT. I believe the Director’s Cut has a runtime of 90ish minutes and it came out in 2017. This wasn't a ‘bad’ documentary (2021), BUT I think we were all, you included, left wishing some topics weren't just glossed over. That's where the other two films come in! I'd LOVE to see your reaction to those! I believe this documentary did what it set out to do, which was to tell the overall story of what happened to Demi that night, along with a couple of months leading up to that night, and just a tiny portion of the aftermath. Also, unlike some of Talyor’s songs and other works, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't hurt anything at all if you decide to go back and record one or both of the other documentaries, because there’s no intended order! So, hey, no worries there! 😊

Anyone is one of my favorite songs of all time. Also, if you’re interested, there are two previous Demi documentaries on YouTube. One is called Stay Strong. The other is called Simply Complicated.
