So, I attended one of the tapings for this in Boston and it was just ELECTRIC. Henry (the 5th grade child) wasn't in our show. I was asked whether or not he was a plant lol But yeah, it's very interesting to see him at this stage of his life. I thought this stand-up show was stellar but I am interested to see if he'll ever do stand-up about his divorce. From what I can tell, he's not interested in that and I don't blame him. But the whole "problematic" thing he alluded to was the fact that he got out of rehab, got divorced, started dating someone else and then had a baby with her. People were enraged and just assumed he had been cheating on his wife before rehab although I thought it more likely that his marriage broke apart before rehab. But either way, I'm so glad the guy is alive and that I got to see the show live. Baby J has won many awards and he's already out on the road testing out new material!

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

Unfortunately John has had troubles with drugs for years. He kind of talks about it in all his specials a bit. He was sober for 15 years and relapsed during covid which then gave us this special (among other life changes of course 🙃)
