So on my thousandth reread of the series I came to a realization (who else rereads to hype yourself up for new episodes? 🙋🏾‍♀️). Looking back to some of the first interactions of Tora and Poppy he literally always had resting bitch face. No expression, really hard to read. Fast forward to the latest episodes and you can practically read his emotions on his face even if he isn’t necessarily saying all the words to match, particularly when speaking to Poppy and Gyu. He feels the most confortable with them in being his “authentic self”, at least as authentic as he knows how to be at this point. But when he’s around his clan, around Vincent, it’s back to stone cold face Tora. Just interesting when thinking about how much he’s let his guard down. We love character development!

I didn’t realize how much MPL impacted my daily mood until last week’s episode. I was feeling down all week. It’s like there was an actual break up in my life and a gray cloud was over my head at all times. Granted, other stuff happened throughout the week that contributed but I usually handle those situations better than lately. Sometimes at night I like to go through some of my fave stories from the beginning, but this week I kept stopping at the kiss scene because I don’t want to reread the sad parts 😭 I know this is just one hurdle in their journey to be together in the end, but Lily please don’t do this to me again lol I don’t think my weak heart can handle it

What i love about Poppy is the fact she acts like a real woman. Usualy people used to create female characters that really doesn't sounds real. And Tora and Poppy , they are like real people...you know... i can believe that people interact like that. I love how Lily build the characters. And we can understand the frustration Tora is feeling and the reason's that justified his attitude toward Poppy. Sorry my poor English.
