don't you even worry about it, I felt weird after my booster shot, too 😆 but okay, here are my thoughts: first off, Gil needs to be stepped on like the bug that he is 🫢 second, I really hope that Tora will stop blaming himself for what happened to Louise because he wasn't able to stop Gil in time! 💔 thirdly, Quinceton is a character like always 🤭

I enjoy this WEBTOON very much. I hope that Poppy can be there for Tora. He is just as much a victim of his world as she is and everyone knows there is no way he killed Louise. Poppy sees that. She is not stupid.

Ok. This episode was just the tip of the iceberg. But what id like to draw attention to is how Tora is being described as basically and bear with me on this one… The mother hen. Let’s take a look shall we: Quincey says that Tora would re-locate to a new coop if there were any signs of a threat. Much like a mother hen, Tora did just that by moving Poppy to a different location and putting in place security for his other baby chicks (Jacob and Erdene are now under his wing so to speak) I’d put good money on him setting them all up at a different location if chicken shit hit the fan. Then pecking order joke…he is the one who is running all of this: hierarchy of status seen among members of a group of people or animals, originally as observed among hens. Then the whole worn out mother of 12…the normal clutch size for a mother hen is 10-14. That is a ton of little ones to look after. Also, the mother hen will definitely fuck up anyone or anything that tried to hurt the ones they are tending to. Then most importantly how a mother hen usually will puff themselves up among the little ones in her brood to look as intimidating as possible. Y’all idk about you but I think Tora definitely fits that. He is the biggest and baddest mother clucker around out of all of them and is the most intimidating out of all of them. I loved how Lily shoved this in there with her witty sense of humor but amazing use of metaphors!

Tora letting Poppy in and showing vulnerability in front of her is a great development to see, but his confession of guilt is an emotional gut punch. Tora wants to protect everyone and now there’s a person he couldn’t save (and I suspect Joe might be another example of this), so he believes he is the direct cause of her death. His body language is so indicative of this pain, doubled over the table, head down, arms crossed. Makes me wonder how often, if ever, someone told Tora that things weren’t his fault. His savior complex blinds him to the ways in which he does protect those around him and instead only reflects his “failures” back at him 😩 Do my eyes deceive me or does that nebulous shape in the bottom right corner in the scene of Tora smoking resemble a ghost-like figure/creature?! The form is hazy and could be additional smoke, but it’s so concentrated in that one spot 👀👻

Poor Tora ❤️ Quincey is right, Tora can’t save everybody. He is not at fault for Gil killing Louise, but he blames himself all the same. I hope Poppy hears him out, but judging from how their relationship has progressed, I believe that she will. She might not react well to his initial “I killed her,” but she will hear him out.

I am so ready for the mafia stuff to come up again. It’s my favorite aspect of the story. But of course Tora had to say the worst possible thing at the worst possible time… we know he didn’t physically kill Louise and her unborn child. And I don’t think Poppy will believe it either. The predictable thing would be for Poppy to freak out at that confession, but you, Ms. Dusk, are never predictable… that’s the ONLY predictable thing about this… so… she could freak out a little, then console him for his feelings of guilt once she processes what he’s said. I think this is going to be a turning point in their communication. I think Tora is finally realizing that keeping secrets from her is actually putting her in more danger. I also can’t wait to see a deeper side of Quincey. We all love his shallow drama Queen persona, but we also know there is more to him. What are he and Cordy working on? Also, I feel concerned about his furniture delivery that’s supposed to be coming. I feel like it’s not just an innocent delivery… like it’s going to be a catalyst for something…

That cliffhanger is illegal! Though I don't actually think Tora is directly responsible for Gil's wife's death, I am very interested to find out why exactly he is blaming himself. I really hope Poppy doesn't pull away from him again, and will be there to support him when he is obviously struggling with guilt.. poor Tiger. Anyway, hope your family is well and you are feeling better after your booster! Thank you for another great episode. Can't wait for next week!

First of all, glad you're okay, Lily...was worried about you!! 🥺 Okay, so one of my first thoughts from this episode...did Poppy really just say her Granny used to say "WHENEVER a forest spirit drifted into our house..." like it was a regular occurrence??! 😱👻 Like, "oh, don't worry, they're not bothering anyone." Well I guess we know where the hamster balls of steel came from!! The shower "self love" conversation was hilarious...Balthuman Elite level troll indeed 😂😂😂...as was the whole scene with Jacob being overrun by the Tiger crew and Poppy's observation about Tora looking like a worn out mother of 12. But all of the sweet, funny moments in these last few episodes, of course they aren't meant to last. We knew the darkness was coming, but oh, my. On one hand, I'm proud of him for not shutting her out anymore, but...yikes, that was a bomb I wasn't ready for. I've heard theories that he feels responsible for not taking care of matters in time, or that maybe something really dark, like blackout-level bad happened (and to be honest, it could go either way, we just won't know until more information is revealed). But what I REALLY want to know is this: exactly HOW did he find out about Louise's untimely demise?! I mean, sure, if he was involved somehow...that's a whole different can of worms, but if he's just feeling guilty, then how would he even know? Did he observe Gil doing the deed? Did he see him moving the body? Did him or the team find his "hiding spot"?? Now I'm going to be biting my nails until we're graced with some answers! 😬😬😬

We knew Tora’s lil crew was a handful 😂. Now we see the crap he puts up with on a daily basis. But I cant believe he told Poppy that he Killed Gills wife. Tora has a big heart and was trained to Kill. But on the inside you can tell that it really takes a toll on him mentally. We knew from the beginning Gil was off. Even I didn’t expect him to stoop so low and Kill her. Tora cant save everyone even if he wanted to..

Okay so this post doesn't have the burning/ non spoiler questions part but I'm wondering how proficient in martial arts is Poppy? Cause we see in one episode she's trained in boxing, and several times when she's thrown hands, at Tora and a wall, she's posed like a boxer would and she landed solid hits on both (sorry Tora's nose) so is this something that's going to come into play later?

I'm curious as to how Tora found out about Louises death myself. he saw her alive and chatting happily with her fetus, excited about the baby and making a little dino. then he left. she was alive still at that point. so how did he know she was deceased? did he hear her struggles and come back to late? if so, why wouldn't he have taken Gil out then? he would have as he had been frustrated and denied his shot. did he find out about it 2nd hand and feels terribly guilty for leaving her, when he KNEW Gil was messed up? in any and all cases, Gil is responsible for his actions, not Tora. no matter how guilty he feels. and how horrible for her family to find out she was murdered. she didn't deserve this, even though she knew Gil was "sketchy" when she married him. no one thinks their loved one is going to kill them, until they do.

I’m going to jump straight in, I am so psyched that there wasn’t an intruder leaving that ‘GO’ on the ground! That Poppy is embracing - albeit reluctantly - that a possible ghost has left it behind. I don’t know why it appeals to me so much, whether it’s because I find it funny or the amazing nod to Asura’s Bride. But whatever it is I’m glad it was cleared up that there wasn’t anyone else about. Poppy has enough to stress about, as this episode proves. And I like Granny’s wisdom - “Ghosts are scary, but the heart of a man is worse.” And Poppy has her share of those scary bastards in her life thanks very much. “Ugh…I think I’m a little stressed out.” Ya think!!? Poppylan most people would have thrown a massive tantrum by now, whined about the unfairness of it all and no doubt locked themselves in a room and refused to come out. I think she should cut herself some slack, she's been through a lot! So the fact she does some yoga stretches as her way to relax is pretty awesome and healthy. *cough* Tora and his bad smoking habit *cough* Oh my god that part of Tora calling Quincey out with jacking off had me HOWLING! His tantrum as he runs off with the towel or whatever it was over his head will never get old for me. And the perfectly blase way Tora said it and Poppy’s innocence trying to take the edge off…bloody hell this trio is funny!! Then you go and top it off, Lily with Tora having a fucking laugh with himself trolling them!! I cannot begin to tell you how amazing that shot is. He’s got this absolutely beautiful killer view above him, it looks so beautiful, even the wisps of the cigarette smoke. And he’s just totally at ease, legs stretched out, smoking a cigarette and content in that small slice of a moment, with his little trolling snark. I dunno, I just found it so much fun but also so bloody gorgeous to look at it. Aw I really felt the pain of Poppy’s words as she was thinking through her thoughts on chin hairs. How he’s an everyday regular person, not one you’d normally automatically be wary of. I’m glad she’s not shying away from working through it, and acknowledging that there’s a good chance having Tora and Quincey around possibly helped keep them safe, it led to a realisation I was instantly on edge for. Who had Poppy suddenly worried wasn’t safe too? Admittedly Louise wasn’t the first person I thought of, but I think I’d just blocked that part out. And the more Jacob appears in this story the more I like him! There’s something very grounding about his attitude compared to Tora’s drunk gaming mad guys playing up on the phone like that. Will I ever forgive him for his snark on Poppy’s weight? Probably not. But he’s proven time and again he’s a great friend to Poppy and I really appreciate that. So I really enjoyed the whole of their exchange, fleeting as it was. These snippets of star lit sky are sooo beautiful! I want to live there too. But I wouldn’t want to be in the room with Poppy and Tora while she babbles her way through asking about Louise. The more I read, the more I saw Tora not looking at her, his eyes becoming shadowed, the more I was cringing behind my phone. On my first read - which is always as soon as I’ve woken up so I’m not always picking up on things I should - I thought his reaction was because he already knew she was dead. But having read it since I realised no, he’s feeling out how much Poppy knows, how much the cops know. He’s no doubt thinking about what he overheard in the apartment, about the baby. But the more Poppy goes on that she’s missing and showing the message from her niece, it’s obvious to him. And it hit me hard when he called her Poppylan, and then went on to soften it a little by calling her Pops. All whilst not looking at her, and going in on himself. And well shit! “She’s dead and I killed her.” Tora, we need to have a serious discussion on your choice of words, dude! You can not just say something like that to Poppy, head planted on the table in defeat and everything. You’re going to give this poor girl a heart attack. I don’t for a second believe he killed her. I believe his guilt and complex to save everyone makes him think he should have done more to protect her, warn her, or something to have prevented this. But the only one this is on is chin hairs. I believe chin hairs either did it, or he had someone else do it. Either way we saw the flashback to the psycho coming home and commenting on the smell of her. *shudders* Besides all of that, Tora is just as surprised Louise is missing. He’s come to the quick and logical conclusion of what’s happened, and he’s taken the blame for it. But how in the hell is Poppy supposed to take that? Is this going to lead to him opening up and telling her what he’s done in the mafia? I know I wouldn’t appreciate being told that, even if it’s just his guilt talking. He’s going to land himself in hot water with her again if he doesn’t watch it. As for cliff hangers, well played Lily! Very well played. This was a tantalising chapter, packed with gorgeous and stunning artwork, I’m saving for later. I’m eager to see what the next episode brings! Another love tap to the nose for that stupid stunt? Can’t wait to find out, pft pft.
