"the elephant in the room" is probably my least favorite joke in the entire show, it just feels like such an obvious and lazy pun from a lesser show. There's so much brilliant writing in just this one episode that I'm like really, you had one character be an elephant for five seconds so you could do that.

I mean I feel that’s the point. The only reason they made that dude an elephant was for that one line. That’s why thought it was funny at least

It felt like a gag from Family Guy

I never understood beepers my older cousin (who is in her late 40s) try to explain them to me but I just don't get how you're suppose to call the person back. I remember in Kim Possible she sung "Call me beep me if you wanna reach me." And I grew up with that show which in hindsight how many people were using beepers in 2003? Then again I was only 4 so maybe High School kids used beepers in 2003 but I wasn't.

I WAS in high school in 2003, I'm about the same age as Mikey, but absolutely no one was using beepers then. My mom got her first cellphone around 1998 and by the time I started highschool in 2001 it was becoming common for kids my age to have cellphones, though my family didn't have the money for me to have one in high school, and none of us ever had beepers.

Barely became a Patreon because of your Bojack Horseman reactions on YouTube

This episode was a metaphor for suicide. Replace auto erotic asphyxiation with suicide and the episode makes more sense.

Yeah JD Salinger was one of the few celebrities who didn't voice themselves. :D And I enjoy the elephant joke.
