Only about halfway through the reaction, but I actually think it's reasonable to be frustrated at all of the Horde people during this arc! I've said it before, but Catra is my favorite character (not even just in this show, in everything I've ever watched), and this is a VERY hard arc to watch on her end and Entrapta's too! Hell, even Scorpia (who's obviously conflicted, but ultimately, still helping the Horde). I actually think the frustration that we all feel watching this arc (and other arcs in the show too, of course) is the mark of good writing of this show. Because we DO care about and sympathize with these characters, even when we don't love what they're doing. So, of course it's hard to watch! It doesn't mean that we can't sympathize or love these characters, as you said! It's almost like in real life when someone you love is doing something you just don't think is smart, but you ultimately can't stop them. That's why these characters feel so real, I think. So yeah, totally get what you're saying! And of course you want it to blow up in Catra's face, because we want to see her realize that she's taking her deep hurt out on people who love and care for her (Adora, Entrapta, and Scorpia). It's heartbreaking even, because as a viewer, you're kinda desperate for her to have any sort of epiphany that might make her want to be better. And that's what I think makes season 3 so good and important.

I can sympathize with everything but Catra's actions and thats what you have to judge a character on. I think shes the best written character in how terrible she is

Leaving another comment because I'm further into the reaction now, but I really respect what you said about empathizing with Catra despite not being able to relate to her and that you can't imagine how she feels in this situation. I actually think that's a super mature way to watch this show. As someone who does relate to Catra in a lot of ways, this episode was STILL hard for me to watch because (even though I do relate to her in a more real world sense) I've obviously never been kidnapped and raised as a child soldier and brainwashed. I've never had anyone take away my oxygen as a punishment or magically torture me for their own sick pleasure. So yeah, you're totally right, it's frustrating even when we are understanding where these characters are coming from. Like I said in my other comment, we WANT to see her be better, and that's why it's hard to watch and why it's good writing. We've seen parts of her that we do like, so having that element of her character exist in conjunction with the part of her that is being destructive and hurting and messy makes us as viewers feel a lot of things about her. And it's okay for all of that stuff to co-exist! Anyway, thank you for the reaction!

Catra should absolutely be trying your patience! Makes one wonder what still awaits her going forward...!

Now that’s what I’m sayinnnnnng, Catra is a PERFECT character, she’s just very much not a perfect person lollll. Her and Pearl from SU are my all time favorite characters.

The score "Moment of Truth" that played in this episode still gives me chills when the vocals start going! And I agree, getting riled up about a character speaks to how well they're written, and Catra is lost to her desire for revenge here.
