I’ve seen this show at least a dozen times but the scene of Adora breaking the sword hits hard EVERY TIME. I’m so excited for season 5, it’s probably my favorite season of any tv show I’ve seen.

"Angela wait! I'm not-" was Micahs last line in the fake reality. Hardly anyone actually catches that in the moment but it was a great little piece of forshadowing

Glimmer getting TWO moments of a parent showing up just a moment too late to stop her devastates me. This finale I think is my favorite. The stakes, the tone, Adora breaking the sword, the STARS. I think it's most recognizable here, but Darius from TOH shares a VA with Horde Prime!

[Beast Island] Nice job clocking Micah before he was revealed! Adora once again repeating her internalization of Angella's parting words as *Adora's* responsibility to take care of everyone, rather than *everyone's* responsibility to take care of one another. [Destiny 1] The music you called out just after Entrapta explains everything to Adora and realization is crashing in on Adora? It's the "Promise" leitmotif! "She *really* means a lot to him!" The Entrapta/Hordak bond is so sweet. I love *all* the post-episode speculation. [Destiny 2] "Hopefully Light Hope doesn't try to pull some shit." Man, talk about famous last words! "He's not as formidable as you've been lead to believe. I mean, you saw, he just got beat by Catra." The thing is, Catra is a *scary* good fighter. She never needed (or wanted) to try when Adora was still around, because all she wanted to do was follow Adora's destined (per Shadow Weaver, anyway) path to leadership. In the first episode, she sneaks in once the bots have all but bested all the other members of the team, and finishes off the "boss" bot in the training sim. All of which is to say, Hordak *is* quite a scary foe...Catra's just that much scarier! Your face on "Oh, she destroyed the sword!" was amazing. "Season 5's gonna be goood." I cannot wait for you to experience it!

You should start season 5 with the first 3 episodes, and watch two for the rest! The way it would seperate episodes is a lot better and the finale won't be less hyped up because of it or anything, too. Just a suggestion.

This finale is a masterpiece! All the little things they set up in earlier seasons fit so so well. And it really changes your perspective on the show when rewatching. S5 goes so great after s4
