We finally find out how badly BoJack has to screw up to get P.C. to bail. He truly is the poster horse for hubris.

Eve

I do love the cut to PC when he says he didn't love any of the other women involved, which includes her.

Casey Sabine

these next couple week are gonna be insane

Not to defend BoJack, but I do think Biscuits Braxby was a bit off on some things with him having a pattern of grooming young women. He doesn't respect women, but I don't think he's often intentionally manipulative with them the way she was painting. He's just very selfish and narcissistic and has few inhibitions. All of that pales against the chilling reveal that he very well could have prevented Sarah Lynn's death if he didn't wait those 17 minutes to cover his ass. It almost doesn't matter if Braxby was wrong about some parts of his character when the awful things he really has done are so monumental.

this episode's so hard-hitting, i can imagine it's about as easy to react to as Free Churro lmao. you just wanna sit there biting your nails the whole time. finding out bojack could have saved sarah lynn's life but didn't is so painful, in part because we think we as the audience know all the worst shit he's ever done. i love that bixby isn't painted as a fully altruistic figure in bringing his patterns to light. it feels like a statement on how hollywoo(d) works; truth and justice still depends on things like other people's career ambitions. if paige hadn't pointed out that bixby would become irrelevent without more hard-hitting journalism, the truth about sarah lynn might never have come out.

Yes, Biscuits is a bit skewed in her perspective of Bojack's pattern with women. She only has the story that Doctor Champ gave her and Paige, and that's through his drunken retelling of the limited context Bojack gave for each instance of his predatory behavior. This is not an unbiased interview. However, I would say that's the point. When you peel away the nuance of KNOWING someone and their life, hearing the bad things they've done, in a vacuum, is quite damning. If we had only witnessed Bojack through an outsider's perspective, rather than gaining an omnipotent perspective of both his life and his mother's life, we'd probably see things the way Biscuits lays them out. We'd only see the end results of his fuck-ups, not any of the extraneous circumstances which influenced those decisions. That's the point of "intent doesn't matter more than impact." You can say something hurtful with only the best intentions, but that won't change the hurt you caused. Biscuits is biased, but she's not wrong. Only the story about the girl from rehab was genuinely wrong. Everything else was a warranted call-out of Bojack's shady behavior. It doesn't matter that none of it was intentional, because he was responsible for recognizing unhealthy dynamics as the person in power. We can hope he didn't notice it all we want, but he constantly tried to lessen the blowback on him for his fuck-ups. He knew damn well how predatory he was being, he was just in denial.
