This loosely-woven and intentionally misleading "documentary" showing the production of The Normal Album and its associated videos has remained my Youtube channel's best-kept secret for the past five years, and I figured due to it being a behind-the-scenes the-making-of DVD-special-features thing full of drug use, character defects, and kid-unfriendly nastiness it's time I gave it to Patreon folks. It was shot in 2019 at Backroom Studios, Ponderrosa Studios, Clam Castle, Luna Parc, and a handful of other spots, and features the band and production team for the project recording and producing the album and the videos. It's a little under an hour long, and is now exclusively to buy or view as a member on Patreon.

The Normal Album is available on all major streaming and downloading platforms. You can buy CD's and vinyls from Hostile City Distribution. In 2019, Will Wood and the Tapeworms went into studio to record a collection of songs Wood had written since 2015. The record, entitled "The Normal Album," was a significant departure from his previous work - much like his previous work. The process of constructing the album was documented by Jake Feldman and Danger Baby Films' Mike Diebold. "What Did I Do?" shows the making of The Normal Album, but it's not the story of its creation. "What Did I Do?" is a non-linear and abstract reconstruction of the events as though it were one thing that happened. "What Did I Do?" is waking up after a long night unsure of what mistakes you made, it's a response to when someone is angry and you're not sure why, it's a realization you've done something you can't take back, it's uncertainty as to whether or not you did anything at all. Watch the strange and unique process of creating this very not-normal album, and see some of the experiments, tricks, fun facts, and little glimpses into the studio. Learn about Will Wood and the band and little known facts about them. Try to separate what was and wasn't staged or manipulated in post. Figure out what they did.
