Yeahhh! Luffy stays getting rescued by the LGBTQ+ community, we love to see it. Shoutouts to Luffy's VA for all that screaming, that's gotta be agony especially for an older woman. Some people argue that Ivankov was justified in changing that guy's gender since he was hostile and out for blood, but yeah idk it still feels unnecessarily invasive to me. It sounds weird to suggest fighting back or even killing him would come off as less cruel than forcibly changing his body, maybe I'm just overthinking it. Anyway I realize it was just for showcasing Ivankov's powers, but I kinda wish Oda found a better way to demonstrate that. Just my opinion.

This treatment is costing Luffy 10 years of his life, which not only is it crazy but also worth it if it'll help his chances to survive being poisoned. On top of that, Luffy is also using techniques that are also shortening his life span. At this point, we are just going off the rails in this arc and I can't wait to see your next reaction videos :)

Fun Ivankov fact: he's partly inspired by Oda's friend and real life "okama" Norio Iwamura who also voiced Ivankov to begin with, before he had to step down after he got into a scandal for posting a picture of his naked body online (he has full-body tattoos). I'm not sure if the voice for Ivankov on Netflix is Iwamura, or his replacement as his lines were re-recorded for the DVD release.

I feel like attacking and murdering them is much worse... Of course its played for a gag and mainly to demonstrate Ivan's power so it's not that deep. Also Ivan isn't the sort of person to leave someone in a body they don't want and he would always revert them if they asked.
