I agree that it is very human to fall in these thoughts of doubt when hatred is involved. Squard couldn’t see past his anger towards Roger and of course Whitebeard understood that. He hugged him, telling Squard he is loved just as much as Ace and everyone else. That they are all his children, his family 🥹

This episode really established Whitebeard as one of the best fathers in One Piece. Before getting to know him it was kinda hard to see why Ace always spoke so highly of him, even preferring him to be Pirate King over his own beloved brother. But it all becomes so clear as we dive into his character this arc, Whitebeard is truly a one of a kind man. Btw I like that hat you've got on, it looks cool. The shape reminds me of Kuma's hat but the design/pattern on it is sorta giving Law too.

Kizaru's a bit a of a meme in the One Piece community, and it's for all the reasons you mentioned here lol. He's kinda seen as a huge troll most of the time. Just never being too serious even during moments that call for it. People joke that's he's always too high to fully utilize his light powers, otherwise he'd be too fast for anyone to realistically fight him.

"I'm just a human with one heart." is probably my favourite quote of him. And I think he doesn't mean that in the way the he's very much "killable", but because they tried to turn his family against him. Like - he's still human, he loves his family.
