Pure insanity is what I would call these episodes and it’s not stopping there. We got too much to do and so little time. Whitebeard tilting the seas, Little Oarz Jr. still alive, and Luffy’s face to face with the Admirals… 🤯

Fragile

There are many high points in one piece, but the stretch of episodes you are on now, is imo one of, if not the best. There is just so many episodes in a row that just dont miss. The shot with luffy infront of the admirals are also so awsome! Hope you have stayed away from spoilers, and just enjoy the episodes to come. With how this one ended, i dont feel like its a spoiler to say its not getting any less intense!

I would argue that ep 390-590 is one of the most legendary runs of episodes in any anime ever. Every arc is SO fucking good and reinvents the show constantly.

The Marineford Arc is just insane. So much happening. You really need to watch the special episode One Piece Fan Letter later. It gives yet another perspective on this entire war. (Fan Letter is 100% spoiler free after episode 522 and makes sense chronologically, so many advise to watch it right after 522. Imo the best singular episode of One Piece.)

I love how there's just zero context to why Bonney is crying at Sabaody. I didn't even remember that scene being there, but it'll make sense wayyy later. Oda with literally over a decade of foreshadowing.

Incredible. Luffy being thrown ass first into the front line to stand tall against, not one, but all three admirals. Knowing full well from previous beatings that he doesn't stand a chance in hell against a single one of them. All of this determination to save his brother and closest family in the world, ACE!!! Beautiful!

Squard always bothers me everytime I watch marineford. He was with whitebeard for years but believed akainu immediately. I get he hated Roger but he should have known. Imagine one of the strawhats pulled this in enies lobby under the belief that luffy traded their lives to save Robin. It's laughable, and they have only been with luffy for several months, not years like squard and whitebeard
