Not sure if you reflected on this. But Aces tattoo on his arm reads ASCE with the S crossed out which seems silly at first but after this arc gives you a bit of perspective on what it stands for. You also see the same exact crossed out S in the last letter Sabo sends Ace as he goes out to sea. I actually got the same tattoo myself 😅

Right-Hand Man

Ace and Luffy’s cries always break me 😔. This flashback arc really centers on Ace and why he does the things he does. The bonds he has made changed him for the better, not just as a pirate but as a human being as well. In the end, Ace died doing what Sabo asked him to do which was to protect their little brother 😭
