Kromperton

Can we ask serious questions here?

Niki P

hi jackfilm what were your most listened to songs from the past year?

Riz (is here)

If you had to make dinner from what's in your fridge/cabinets RIGHT NOW (no ordering groceries) what would you be able to make?

Jacksfilms

My white ass can handle a lil spice, especially concerning fajitas. Hard-shell taco, for the crunch sound effect.

Primarily Colourful

Any plans to collab with Smosh this year? I think it'd be cool if you were on an episode of Smosh Mouth, and also brought Reactbot via a monitor sitting next to you

Thomas Atlae

Hi! When you think of Erin, is there a certain place or location that comes to mind? Like somewhere where you have a lovely memory together, or that you saw her at her happiest/best/angriest, anything you'd like to share. I always like thinking about this regarding my husband when I miss him.

Simon

Yessss Philosophy is my favorite too!!! Thanks for the answer jack i love you and your silly neighbour ernie

Soleil

What’s your and Erin’s favorite wine? Also hope your holiday was good and didn’t get hit with the plague

Jacksfilms

Hahahahah it was barely drama BUT someone made a rather uncouth comment towards someone's girlfirend that nearly led to the boyfriend throwing punches BUT Erin and I were blissfully unaware of all of it until well after the fact

Mattia Moscardo

I've never listened to Dave Matthews band...any recommendations for a newcomer?

Jacksfilms

The Shining's pretty fun. Also would we call Se7en a scary movie? NOTE: For a deep cut, check out "Kill List." Watched that w/ Cyr and Stefan back in the day - woof. What an ending.

rebecca

gemi.inv

What video of yours should I make my ferrets watch?

Kim Wheeler

Do you have a resolution of any kind, or an area of focus you're thinking about right now?

Jacksfilms

Not a big beer drinker in general BUT when I do partake it's usually something lighter, or an amber, or a blonde beer, or cider? Can we call cider beer?

gemi.inv

Also. What do you most/least want to see in Jack Fourever After? Game's still happening after the pwetty epic harassment and defamation targeting me has died down

Haylee Sullivan

Hi jack! Will reactbot ever be available for purchase again?

Jacksfilms

Erin and I caught some bug - I'm okay but she's still recovering. Send her some well wishes! Mental stability ranking, from most stable to least: -Klondike -Sundae -Jack -Erin -Chipwich

Daisy Franzel

Long-time viewer but new Patron here! What YIAY question from year's past do you consider to be the most emblematic of YIAY's sense of humor? I've always used the "Make up a fake movie quote that includes the title of a movie" when explaining your videos to friends, because both the question itself and answers are an easy way to demonstrate the extreme irony and unhinged nonsense YIAY answers usually contain

Daisy Franzel

Bonus joke answer, do you feel like a big boy when the dogs tuck you in at night while Erin and her boyfriend are in the other room?

Jacksfilms

That's a great example - same w/ the video game one, which was among the first "blind" YIAYs we did!

Rise Frog

I wouldn't but I think some ciders are very close to being beer.

Eagle489

Ask Erin, she could probably give suggestions 😏

Jeremy Maloney

Youtube can be a fickle mistress. What would be your backup career if it no longer pays the bills (depending on Erin doesn't count). Editing?

¡Franco Omar López López!

how do you feel youtube has changed how you portray yourself? i assume your own personality has not changed much, but the way you present yourself certainly has!

Jacksfilms

Yes - MORE! More jackisanerd, more jjjacksfilms, more TQGW, and expanding Credit the Creators into the real world. Also running more

Jacksfilms

Ants Marching is their big(gest?) hit for a reason - try it! Then try "The Idea of You"

Jacksfilms

Erin's regular fav is Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay! My fav is Storypoint Chardonnay, though it's tough to find

Elise

can I have 5 dollars

Jacksfilms

Great question! I'd say the pub where we first met comes to mind - we still go to it every year on our "meetiversary"

Jacksfilms

currently trying to get a smosher on TQGW

Brandon King

All I Want For Christmas is a Girlfriend has been part of my holiday playlist for a while now, and I’ve even carried the tradition into my home with my longtime girlfriend! What was the process of making that song/video like, now 18+ years ago?😵‍💫

Jacksfilms

this answer sucks but it's a cover of Oasis' "Live Forever" by Kotomi and Ryan Elder. the song is great but i only know it b/c i clicked on a rick and morty clip on youtube and liked the background song

Collin LW

Why don't you film on-location as much anymore? I know you film all your videos live now, but I miss Jackask being on the chair, with the board, and Erin chiming in. Plus how blind YIAY started. Sorry for the backhanded criticism, but that's my question.

Jacksfilms

kroger hazelnut medium roast w/ hazelnut creamer. and this exact question

Brandon King

You’re legitimately my favorite creator in the world and I’m so happy to still be a supporter of you all these years later, I grew up with your content!

Watersurf

Is there anything special you want to make for your twentieth year on YT? Also on a side note, I want to say that your community is probably one of my favorites out of all the creators I follow. Everyone is so nice and caring, especially when it comes to crediting those creators over on the jjjacksfilms side. Wishing you, your family and your council/team a good 2026!

SirDeFir !

What are some projects that have been made by other content creators that brought you to be a part of that project that you really enjoyed?

jaye

Kim Wheeler

Thanks for answering! Here's to a year of more!!

Jacksfilms

Yes - I'll be doing retrospective commentaries on select videos throughout the year! Happy 2026 to you and hours!

The_Curious_Noggin

Hi Jack, hope you had a good Christmas and new years. I was wondering, since you are a og creator, I was wondering what are you thoughts on how youtube is nowadays, with the retention Editing, ai slop, and general lack of good content? And I was also wondering, what advice or tips would you give if you were talking to someone who wanted to start Content Creation? Thanks again for everything, take care. Also, Question for erin: pineapple on pizza or nah?

Austin F

hi jonathansmotionpictures. if you had to make out with one man - it could be any man in the entire world - who would you choose (and hypothetically erin would allow it)

Jacksfilms

While I miss those elements too, it's just so much easier for me to a) have a setup where I don't have to worry about lighting, camera/mic issues, other physical setup; and b) play off a live audience in real time as opposed to just talking to a blank camera. It's hard to go back! That's why TQGW is really the only thing I film on a "set" these days

Jacksfilms

Thank you for the kind words, and I LOVE that you still listen to that one! That WAS a process - very involved. Had to scope out multiple locations like a neighborhood flower shop; my sister and her friend choreographed a whole dance for one scene; ran around my college campus for most of the shots. That's how I learned that it's always better to shoot WAY TOO MUCH for music videos - you'll always want to have the ability to cut to another shot!

Jacksfilms

not uploading to multiple channels YEARS ago

Matthew Neidiffer

I still remember jacksflim for the superbowl song and the dubstep video Do you think you will ever go back and make content like you did around 2011?

Wonerful

Who is in charge of the interior decoration at your house? The setup for TQGW or your Christmas trees or really any spot are always very aesthetically pleasing. Compliments to the chef.

Jacksfilms

it's allowed me to talk more as myself than as a "character," which was HUGE back in the day. always played very heightened versions of myself in like 2006-2014 vids.

Jacksfilms

erin for like all of it! she painted the walls, she chose the trees, even the YIAY mantle w/ the mirror - it's all her! if it were up to me it'd look like a college freshman's dorm

Jacksfilms

i feel like every once in a while i make a big ol goofy vid on the main channel!

Jerry

Jack should I have wine or cider I can’t make up my mind!

Jacksfilms

any man that's manly enough to kiss me

Matthew Neidiffer

You do but that's how i found your channel and became a fan still remember the wiggle dixs video

Niki P

LOL hell yea that’s awesome, thank u for answering my question and hope ur 2026 is going well so far!

spiffytech

Are tennis balls yellow or green?

Jacksfilms

despite the abundance of AI slop etc, i firmly believe the good stuff is still there and worth searching for! there are tons of channels i depend on for quality uploads. best advice for someone starting out - just start! rip off the band-aid and turn on the camera and FILM. you'll learn very quickly what your strengths and weaknesses are. get comfy in your discomfort zones!

Jacksfilms

HUGE: before/during college i was planning on moving to LA to do the traditional route of working up the ladder from an on-set errand boy to possibly directing. then youtube kinda changed everything

Jacksfilms

being in a captain disillusion video was a bucket list item for me - been watching that guy for well over a decade. such a fan of his stuff!!

Sonia

You had the same heart-attack I did. If you click on the comment it shows more

Kay

Jack I turn 21 soon. What should be my first legal drink?

BarnabasCube

Do you ever plan on putting more of your songs on services like Spotify?

The_Curious_Noggin

Thanks Jack for the response. Much appreciated. Hope you and your family has a happy 2026.

Clarisse Carlson

Why did you make the Reactbot plushie moan I hate it

Jacksfilms

squeezed mine and he just said "true"

Jacksfilms

probably not. now videos on the other hand...

Jacksfilms

yellow i think? but there's a CTC vid we featured many weeks ago going into WHY they're the color they are today!

Jacksfilms

someone asked about my coffee. that was really cool

Jacksfilms

every time i try, i can't bring myself to finish [it]

Jacksfilms

depends on the mood you're in - you in a sweet mood? cider

rose

Jacksfilms my girlfriend wants reactbot dead what's the best course of action

Jacksfilms

honestly just happy to still be making vids my 20th year into youtube!

Jacksfilms

edited vid coming soon to jackisanerd!

Jacksfilms

"I bet their pronouns are epic/sauce" - my Reactbot plushie just now

Jacksfilms

just MORE of everything! gonna go HAM on 'nerd and jjj and jacksfilms

Celena

Jacksfilms…. Tell Markiplier when he is better, that I said “adoginfog ate my UTu homework but that’s OK, because Markimooshroom picked up where adoginfog left off?, I don’t remember I deleted my channel in either middle or high shcool” ? I joined YouTube for the first time about 3 months after you did??!???!: wait.. what?

Clarisse Carlson

Mine just said “wishing you a blessed Arbor Day”

Jacksfilms

copying this answer from a similar question: honestly just happy to still be making vids my 20th year into youtube!

Jenna

When do the dogs get their own podcast?

Celena

They should be pink

Jacksfilms

when they learn to edit. they keep doing star wipes

Celena

🤣

rebecca

hell yeah thanks grandpafilms

Celena

Nuhuh I sorry i dint know he was sick bro I been sick all week and my mom just threatened to call an ambulance on me to go to the hospital if I didn’t get some sleep 😱

Celena

So I get it, I just don’t use the internet as much, because I’m kinda old

Matthew Neidiffer

Not a question Jack even tho we(your community) give you a hard time, we still love ya<3

Celena

Adoginfog would edit but she said nah I’d rather get a real job instead… this is just an art project and I don’t make a pennie from it cause I just wanna make people laugh bruh, then she deleted the channel forever………..

The Pixel Show

If you were stuck in a room for 24 hours with Chad, what would you do

Jacksfilms

down some beers while trying to deprogram his problematic tendencies

Celena

Because the channel content was so cringe 😬 at 15 she said, I better delete this ish before it gets found and I get made fun of by all of my friends in my big hs somewhere in ye old new Amsterdam 🥚

Jacksfilms

at first i thought i hadn't, so i googled it just now, and oh yea i've def seen some tiktoks about it

Jacksfilms

no but this sounds like a joke i made in an old vid

The Pixel Show

Do you regret hyping up The Emoji Movie

Celena

My mom has a FNAF book for him, how can I send it to his P.O. Box? Is that still a thing? “Fan mail”

The Pixel Show

What are you doing at this very moment

Yokai Disorder

Angela or Shayne would be pwetty epic

The Pixel Show

What’s your least favorite TikTok meme

Jacksfilms

"and probably will be for life TIME CAST A SPELL ON YOU"

Celena

I asked my real life brother if he wanted to go to Vidcon this year, he said no. Dang, he’s pretty funny guy just like you would you like to know his name? Before I even knew you existed I helped name him, fill in the blank with invisible in to guess _____

The Pixel Show

Where do you see yourself in 10 years

Laura

Hi Mr Films! If you had to pick one project or video to define your career, which would you pick? (Bonus: which would you use to introduce a new person to your content?)

Jacksfilms

i'm with your bro - haven't gone to vidcon since 2019!

laughing rainbow

Cant think of a question but still want to be part of things. How are you doing today?

Celena

Goodnight, this was fun. Now it’s time to send “adoginfog” back to its crate, so that its owner can rest from all the nonsense happening around lately… bless up ✌️ peaceeeee

laughing rainbow

Do you know the show community? do you like it?

Celena

I have never been

Celena

I was too poor back then when I wanted to go the first time 🤣 or busy working some 9-5 …

Becca Williams

I don’t know if Jack replies, but I did end up starting the Saw series after you and Erin talked about how amazing the ending is to the first one. I dozed off for a second and didn’t realize who got up until after finishing it. The amazing ending happened and I didn’t get it at first, I missed it. And I’ll take those recommendations Mr. Films, thank you!

Celena

Is it worth it to go this year? That’s the real question

laughing rainbow

Is "road to 10 million subs" still a thing. And if not would you release the clips sometime?

Jacksfilms

oh man. i wish! that was an overly ambitious idea i had - ultimately still wanna do! - but unfortunately it's tough to justify making. CYOAs don't typically monetize very well on youtube. maybe someday...

spiffytech

Can we really use ReactBot "however we want"? Can I distribute derivative works like a soundboard or messaging stickers or something?

Endrias Kassa

Do you consider your anniversary with Erin to be the your wedding day or the day you 2 started dating?

Jacksfilms

don't love how shorts are being forced on viewers BUT i understand it's the future, so there's sort of a necessity in learning how to make bite-sized verticals of your content. plus it's great for discovery

Jacksfilms

yes - never finished it but really liked it. clever stuff

Jacksfilms

doing well! eating lunch and looking at chipwich staring at me

Jacksfilms

we have two anniversaries: our wedding anniversary and our meetiversary (the day we met)

Jacksfilms

ya i think so - just don't sell 'em!

Jacksfilms

that's really tough! maybe ygs 100 to define my career; even now it feels like a culmination of so much i've done. but for a new person? maybe your editing lacks continuity

Matthew Neidiffer

Question if ghosts are real why arent there dinosaur ghosts? Or do dinosaurs not have souls to become ghosts?

Jacksfilms

while i hope i never stop creating in some capacity, i'd like to be more in the production side of things

The Pixel Show

Best video, worst video, favorite video you’ve done: GO

Jacksfilms

this question is so good i have to assume you stole it

Jacksfilms

YGS 100 fits all of those! It's the toughest one I've made, the one I'm most proud of, and one I absolutely dread to rewatch for so many reasons. Will do a live rewatch of it later this year

Judah

Have you watched Andor? If so what did you think? S2 was definitely my favorite show to come out last year

Noah G

Would you do another try not to laugh with smosh? Yours was one of the most viewed episodes and it’d be really cool to see you back there

Judah

Highly recommend. Really excellent!

Matthew Neidiffer

Question how would you describe your videos to person whos deaf and blind?

Judah

If you could only listen to one Ben Folds album for the rest of your life, what album are you choosing?

Jacksfilms

no but i would if it were like 2009

Matthew Neidiffer

Whats your favorite food(or what your craving today)

SquigglyRoughShark

I know I did just ask one but I thought of a more important one. Would you ever make a react bot app?

Nastja

Will there be another episode of cloud tank?

Jacksfilms

yes! 2nd one is nearly done, just adding some commercial breaks n updates

Jacksfilms

i think we're still tinkering w/ an android app

Jacksfilms

unironically love fajitas and fajita bowls

Jacksfilms

Thank you for your many questions - that's all for now but we'll do this again soon!

Celena

Epic

Celena

It sux

calculoopy

Sigh, I live in the wrong time zone🥲

Alden Domino

i think it's a play on a joke Gilbert Gottfried did on the roast of bob saget

Peyton

I’m reading through these, and for someone who would make “Your Grammar Sucks” videos you don’t use punctuation or capitalize the first word of a sentence, the pronoun “I”, or proper nouns. 🤔
