Fellow artists I would like to share this information with you. I purchased this tool off Amazon for $8. I used it with masking fluid, it draws pencil thin. You can adjust the screw to the width you want to put down. Best part you can wipe it with a towel when it clumps. Hope this is helpful!

Hello, I’m new to both Patreon and to Urban Anna (just finished the Domestika course and loved it.). I tried to search but it appears there is not search function in Patreon’s chat room so I have a question. I am on my 3rd storefront painting now and I have been transferring the images using a pencil on the back of the image and then tracing it onto Arches 300gsm cold press. However, sometime I just want to jump to painting…has anyone here successfully printed onto 300gsm watercolour paper (100% cotton) and if so, what is your printer model and set up? I tried my printers at home and none of them worked. Thanks! Excited to follow along on the paint-alongs :)
Hi Deb, I always take my files to a professional copy shop. Maybe there’s one in your neighborhood? However, they also only print on 200 gsm. Good luck! 🍀

In the event that anyone else has this question, I just purchased the Epson 8550 the other day (my husband is a hobby photographer so we will share the one across our hobbies). I can print on Arches 300gsm with zero issues. I simply must print from the manual feed slot at the back of the machine (not the rear feed tray. There is a manual feed slot in the back that is accessed behind a panel that you remove). Anyway I wanted to share incase anyone is like me and drawing/tracing does not interest them but the painting is where they get their enjoyment :)
Hello everyone, Sharon just gave us an awesome tip about printing your coloring pages on real watercolor paper. For those in the USA: the UPS stores can print them for you, for 50 cents!!
