Comments and Reblogs (Patreon)

As some of you previously have heard from me, I'm quite passionate about engaging an audience and encouraging them to engage with the content they come across!

Slowly I am starting to see a bit of support for that rising up -at least on tumblr.

One such thing I came across recently that I'd like to share with you now:

Whether it be a fan-fic or an original idea, I think the same principles apply as stated above! <3

I want to encourage everyone (including myself!!!) to comment on the fic(s) we read, the one-shot(s), the drabble(s), whatever the writing happens to be <3

Authors and writers of no matter what breadth not just appreciate our responses but also require them!

If any of us writers want to go publish, it’s helpful to have a base to sometimes show the publisher(s) to say: “I already have people who enjoy my work and/or potential beta readers”.  That’s partially why (at least in the past) some authors would write small pieces for magazines first to show that they have published content and/or interested readers :)

And, as said in my previous video last February, comments and reblogs (and likes) are an audience's currency in exchange for the free content they consume. I encourage you to adapt this idea into your life as I'm working dang hard to adapt it into mine most especially when I catch myself liking a post/piece of content mentally and then moving on. 

We gotta support those who put out any sort of art or creative work into the world, especially now with this crazy world of, well, everything that's going on! Even if we can't afford to consume art let us at least give what we can in the form of comments and reblogs to those whose content brightens our days even just a little in such a weird (and slightly dark) time!
