Hi guys! I hope you've been having a fantastic day! I've had some questions and thoughts going through my mind and figured the best way to get them figured out would be to hear directly from you guys! Let me know your thoughts on any or all of the following questions and help a girl out!!

  1. I list my movie reactions as options to purchase individually so you don't have the commitment of a subscription if there's only one movie you'd like to watch. I've been thinking of listing the TV shows like this as well for people so they have the option - although the subscription might end up being cheaper in the long run depending on how fast you watch. But I'm not sure what to price them at as some shows are 8 episodes and then Gilmore Girls will be like 8 seasons or something. So do you think I should put the TV Show collections for sale individually as well and what do you think regarding pricing for that situation? Or would it be better to just leave those as subscription only 🤔

  2. I've been toying with the idea of maybe getting into some anime.... how do we feel about that 🫢 I really want to watch Death Note as I've been reading it but not sure if I should go on this adventure on my own time or if reactions would be a good idea for that. if yes, what're some of your favorites? Keep in mind, I am trying to stay away from Netflix for at least the time being on YouTube so anything Netflix related will be on Patreon only.

  3. I've also been thinking of doing some kind of movie tier where you can select say 3 movies and send them to me and I'll choose which one I want to watch and react to most. I figured this was a good option if there was something in there that I really just didn't want to watch (horror, etc.) or that I've already seen. This would be a very limited tier but also wasn't sure about pricing for that if I ended up doing it! Or if anyone would even be interested in something like that! Or if you have any other ideas regarding a fun way to pick movies instead of just polls! 🩶

For anime I recomend the first season of promised Neverland (the second season never happened) and Yuri on ice. Those are both iconic ones very close to my heart. As for slightly older anime I grew up on, Crayon Shin Chan and Case Closed are my favorites. Those would be hard to react to. If I may Mo Dao Zu Shi (which ive mentioned previously, the live action one is called the untamed) is one of my favorite shows, although that is Donghua which is a Chinese animated show, not Japanese like anime. As for the tiers that advice is beyond my expertise but I do think those options all sound interesting if you find a good way to price them!

I think maybe (for TV shows), charge per season? That would prob also appeal to people who, for example, have a favorite season of Bridgerton. Things with less eps per season might cost less than things with 18 or 23 episodes per season.

Yeah so does shin chan, which is why I said itd be hard to react to xD. Very much a personal recommendation that one, but I'm constantly doing that to her jaja

The choice of prices is different for each reactor and their decisions of financial need vs their amount of time, but since I've been on a very large number of patreons here's some "market research" if it would be of help. Selling a single short season of a show is usually $5-$10 long season $15-$20 complete series $30-$40. Purchased movie reaction requests usually run between $60-$150 depending on how much makes it worth it in your schedule.

me too and i cant waite to see your reaction we might need to have tussiss near by because it final chaper ever i got all mix emotions of how it all going to play out but metter how it play out its going to be amazing so two more month to go i wish it comer sooner but 17th of july will come quick

Individual shows purchase is great I've done it many times it brings in new customer you wouldn't of had because there's only 1 show on your channel they want for example or for people not subscribed anymore that wants a rewatch of a show. Usually they tend to put it at 8-10$ for the show. I can't stand anime so count me out in that. Goodluck.

I've never personally purchased an individual season of a reaction, but I don't think it hurts to have the option. As for anime, a personal favorite is of mine is Erased (2016) which follows a guy who goes back in time to solve the murder of his middle school classmate. I've always thought anime's strong point was those "out-there" type stories that might be hard to pull off if they were live action. If you decide to do Death Note or not, I'd be more than happy to watch you react to any anime, you've got good taste so I trust you!

I think it's a good idea in general to offer a variety of options for those interested in only some movies or a specific show...that being said, I love your channel in particular and would subscribe in any case, even if I mainly watch GG only :) But for other channels, I have found that offering options is mostly attractive. :)

The main problem with anime reactions is that a lot of popular animes are drawn out and repetitive (often due to how it's produced), if you spend the same amount of time reacting and editing live-action shows, you're gonna have so much more rich and diverse content. Arguably the most popular anime is One Piece, it's 1160 episodes at around 23min each. So I've done some very rough calculations of One Piece and some of the shows that are on your Patreon. I subtract 2min for every episode for all shows since you usually skip the credits. One Piece has 1160 episodes at around 23min, so 21 min without the credits. So total for One Piece (1999) is 406h 0min These are the shows that take the same amount to finish (all episodes that have already aired) Bridgerton (30h 56min) Sex Education (28h 16min) Ted Lasso (21h 32min) The Bear (17h 44min) Heartstopper (11h 12min) The Last of Us (14h 8min) Anne with an E (18h 54min) Shadowhunters (36h 40min) Wednesday (12h 48min) Schitt's Creek (26h 40min) Stranger Things (44h 6min) Only Murders in the Building (25h 50min) Shadow & Bone (13h 20min) Young Royals (12h 54min) Schitt's Creek (26h 40min) Derry Girls (6h 58min) Heartbreak High (2022) (18h 24min) Our Flag Means Death (8h 24min) The Summer I Turned Pretty (10h 45min) Interview with the Vampire (12h 0min) Daisy Jones & The Six (8h 0min) So all of these shows together are 406h 11min and One Piece is 406h 0min. The numbers aren't perfect but good enough for estimation. I don't know about anyone else, but I would much rather have all these shows than 1 anime like One Piece.

I would love to see a monthly spin wheel where each subscriber gets one movie pic per month, and who ever it lands on, gets their movie reacted to that month! Gives additional incentive for people to subscribe, and it gives us a chance to get our movie picked!

I'm not into animation so much, but I do love movies! Nothing horror or scary, but I'd love for the opportunity to share the movies I love with you! Selling your movie reactions is a great idea. I wouldn't start on the high end with the price, because no one will buy them. You could maybe give a discount for all of us OG members that have stayed with you from the beginning... I will be first in line to purchase a movie for you to react to, but couldn't afford to do it all the time, if the price gets too high. That's probably true for most of us, but you know I'll support you as I can. I'm not going anywhere! I do have a great movie in mind for you to start off with... ♥

Ahh I appreciate this! Yes I’m trying to think up a price that’s fair! I know a lot of people are struggling right now and don’t need to price it astronomically but I do also need to take into account that I might have to purchase or rent the movie chosen depending on what it is and if it’s available on streaming and stuff ya know? Which is typically around $20 depending on what it is- so I have to factor that in as well and not sure if $50-60 would be fair or too much for the tier- I think I would only have two slots a month and that way I could still have some control and watch other things too!!

You'll get to see some terrific movies you might have never seen otherwise, and we get chance to pick it! I would love to win the spin, one day! Honestly, as long as it's a movie I like, I win whether I pick it or not! We all do!

I would say that's fair! Limiting how many you watch is a good thing. I've seen other reactors that are having to watch 5+ movies a WEEK, and they still have a 6 month wait to get your movie watched! They're watching several shows, and still watch movies from polls etc... it's nuts how much they're cranking out every week! You don't want to do that!

yeah! I know that I'm not able to do 5 movies a week especially if I also need to edit them for YouTube bc that takes me FOREVER. so limiting it will keep it at least somewhat attainable for me 🤣
