Hi guys!! Happy Wednesday! I have a few videos going up later today so look forward to that buttttt I need your help with something that I'm planning on doing in a bit! That is quite exciting.

So I've got a few music/album related questions for you!

What are your favorite albums of all time? What are your favorite albums to see people react to? Who are your favorite artists?

I'm planning on branching out in a bit in a certain way (I know I'm being vague but we'll get there in due time) for music and album reactions because I LOVE music but I barely have time to try out and listen to new things. Whenever I'm in the car, I want to jam out to something I already know so there has been A LOT of albums I've missed. I made a list of some albums I've been thinking of using for this so let me know if you agree or if there are any others that are MUST listen to albums. For reference, I've heard every Taylor Swift album, I'm obsessed with NF, and I love Olivia Rodrigo, Catfish and the Bottlemen and I'm sorry - I enjoy having a fun time with Audrey Hobert. I've never heard a single K-POP song because I'm actually terrified of the rabbit hole I'm likely to go down when that is unlocked, but who knows, now may be the time 😎

Albums I haven't heard and am thinking about: (these are just some ideas to show what I haven't heard and may be interested in, let me know your thoughts!)

Any and all Lana Del Ray album (I've only heard 3 songs and they are all on my playlist bc I love them. - Video Games, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, and Music to Watch Boys To)

Stick Season - Noah Kahan

The Great Divide - Noah Kahan

The Art of Loving - Olivia Dean

This Music May Contain Hope - Raye

Daughter From Hell - Gracie Abrams

Petal - Ariana Grande

Bewitched - Laufey

Happier Than Ever - Billie Eilish

Hit Me Hard and Soft - Billie Eilish

Visitor - Sienna Spiro

Moisturizer - Wet Leg

Preacher's Daughter - Ethel Cain

Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You - Ethel Cain

Billie Eilish is a fantastic choice that I'm glad has made your consideration; she's one of my favorites and I really appreciate her craft as an artist I feel like you might already be a fan of Olivia Rodrigo, if I'm not mistaken. But if you haven't heard her albums, I'd highly recommend all 3 And God, Paramore--my favorite band of all-time. If you haven't listened to their albums, I would 100% recommend you start that journey from the beginning. And if you have, I'd 100% recommend Hayley Williams' solo albums "Petals for Armor" and "Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party". A lot of really creative and profound messages there

Melody

I love this idea! I love all of those albums I also think you would enjoy 5 seconds of summer. Their fifth album titled 5SOS5 is amazing! I also think Jade’s album titled that’s show is baby is amazing and fun to listen to and jam.

Jessica

So does that mean you are open to try some kpop? The reason I ask is because there is a band called monsta x who are kpop. But they have three full English albums. And if you ever want to ease into it maybe doing a kpop group like monsta x and react to there three English albums. And then if you want to later on you can branch out to the Korean stuff. I say Monsta x because they are the ones I really know that actually have a good variety of English songs. They also had a song or two that has played on the radio also. They have had there albums on billboard. And English songs on billboard also. So just wanted to mention just in case :) no worries at all. Have an amazing day.

I love this idea! I can say I’m far down the Kpop rabbit hole and would love for you to react to any recent BTS albums 💜

Karolina Hołub

Omg I love this subject!!! I will just simply list all albums I would love for you to react, some are old but maybe you didn't heard. 1. Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell and Born To Die. This is the biggest request. Trust me you would never be the same. More Lana also great! I am myself still on Lana discovery journey. 2. Melodrama Lord - probably you heard it? But if not, OMG one of the greatest album ever created!! Whole album basically going through house party, what a concept and what a execusion, one of my faves of all time. This two I think you would love the most, but there are some more fun ones: 3. Superache Conan Grey - I don't love his more recent work but this album is sooo important to me. Its for a people that were not in relationship for very long time so in one point in my life and i tough no one speak this language except of Conan. Sooo relatable. 4. Sabrina Carpenter - Short and Sweet, I mean, for sure you heard big songs from that one, but did you listen to whole thing? Its super fun. A little more light one here, but still worth it in my opinion. 5. Hillary Duff Luck... or something - may seem random but I LOVE this album. Finally something pop and fun but from perspective of a little older women with more live experience. My album of the year tbh. From what you pointed here except of Lana I would also love to see Olivia Dean :D But the albums above would gag me more for sure. Can't wait for your music reactions!

Sierra Stevens

Eternal sunshine deluxe and petal by ariana grande

Ryann Rodkey

Omg I LOVE 5SOS! 🩶🩶 I’ll look into the album by Jade!

Ryann Rodkey

Yes! I am totally down to go down that rabbit hole at this point so thank you for this!! 🙏

Cierra

All of these albums are old but so good! 1. Lana Del Rey- Born To Die 2. Florence and The Machine- Lungs 3. Paramore- Riot

Ryann Rodkey

Omg awesome! The only one I’ve heard from this list is Conan’s! Im obsessed with him! And yes I’ve probably heard one or two off of Short and Sweet but never the whole thing so that’s great!!

Ryann Rodkey

Yes! I LOVE Olivia! So I’ve heard all of hers already and I loved Billie’s first two? Albums but from happier than ever and on I haven’t had time to listen so very excited for those!! Also I’ve heard a handful of paramore songs but never a whole album so I’ll note that down!! Thank you!! 😊

Ryann Rodkey

LOVEDDDDD Eternal Sunshine! But haven’t gotten to petal yet!!

Ryann Rodkey

Oooh thank you!! I haven’t heard any of those! 🥳🩶

Veronica Key

Noah kahan stick season and the great divide please!

Sierra Stevens

I loved petal so much that I bought the cd for my car. I normally just stream music.

hekla sóley

some of my favourite albums have to be: emails i can’t send by sabrina, kansas anymore by role model, older by lizzy mcalpine and i looooove rumours by fleetwood mac!! love seeing people react to all of them🩵 some of my other fav artist are ariana, asha banks and harry styles

Joe

Not sure if this fits, but Radiohead is my favorite band. In Rainbows is my favorite album. You could also go classic with something like Abbey Road (Beatles) or Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd.)

hekla sóley

also as a fellow icelander i love seeing people react to laufey so i would def recommend bewitched🩷

Jessica

You are so very welcome. :)

Melody

Aww thank you so much for your reply it means a lot! And yay! She used to be a member of the girl group Little Mix who are amazing as well!

YourAverageArya

Correction to my earlier comment- for noah kahan. Yes stick season and the great divide sure. But his older music is INSANELY good. Busyhead has nearly all my favorite songs by him and Maine from Cape Elizabeth is just a staple

Sierra Stevens

Also , anything by Andrew Belle. All of his albums are great.

ArcAngel

Gorillaz? Plastic beach or Demon Days?

Ryann Rodkey

Oh yes! I’ve heard some songs by little mix before too!!

Ryann Rodkey

Ooooh! I haven’t heard any of those! I still have to listen to Harry’s new album as well!! Thank you for the recs!!

Luna

Omg please add The Crux Deluxe by Djo too aside from his first two albums that you already added. I also would love to see you react to Messy by Olivia Dean! It’s her debut album before The Art Of Loving :)

Luna

Would love to see you react to Gracie Abrams and Lizzy McAlpine too! 🤭👀

Luna

Just like Joe Keery aka Djo, his costar from Stranger Things, Maya Hawke, who plays Robin, also makes music! Any of her four albums would do 🥰 (She’s in my holy trinity of artists after Joe and Taylor Swift lol)

Leora Guterman

Omg please do Amanda Marshall!!!! She's a fucking goddess and a canadian icon and not enough people know of her. She has 4 studio albums and they're all versatile and amazing. Possiby my favourite singer. ❤️ Her first album probably has my favourite songs (Beautiful Goodbye might be my favourite ballad) but they're all top notch and have songs I love.

Leora Guterman

Yesss to Lungs!!! Such a good album!! Florence Welsh is a legit siren or faerie queen. ❤️

Leora Guterman

Dude, if you don't know Paramore you might need a deep dive lol

Leora Guterman

Also feel like you'd enjoy some older Marianna's Trench (album: Masterpiece Theater) and Parachute (albums: Losing Sleep and The Way it Was) and My Favourite Highway (album: How to Call a Bluff). Also Evanescence if you don't know them well. Also maybe Beauty from Pain by Superchick and Beautiful Letdown by Switchfoot. Also any and all Ani Diftanco I feel like you'd ❤️ but be forewarned Ani has a long discography lol

Jayne Riley

Raye is amazing. I have her album on Vinyl and it is so creative. I would also recomened Lilly Allen , Zara Larson and my favorite Omar Rudberg as he has a new album coming soon.

xxxlove

Noah Kahan is amazing, you should totally listen to

Jessica

If you do monsta x I would do the recent English album it’s so good which is called unfold. It’s all English. It’s my favorite English album from them. So I thought I would throw out an album so you don’t have to look to see which is English album just in case you do want to try it ❤️

.jazbati

CTRL by SZA is literally crucial and essential

채영

Plsss do born to die by Lana del Rey…not sure if you’d be into them but everything in transit by jacks mannequin is my favourite album ever (he does some songs in one tree hill) also recommend Act 2 by Sasha Keable

Brianna Nicole

I have so many depending on genre lol My favorite band is Marianas Trench; their albums are an experience. Usually concept albums, the songs all flow into each other, there's usually 1-2 very long songs (8ish minutes), full orchestra with the pop punk of it all. If I had to pick, I'd suggest Ever After Waterparks is one of my other favorites, though I have noticed a dip in quality. FANDOM era is my favorite

Brianna Nicole

The new comeback album for The Cab was also excellent! If you wanted other newer albums of other genres, I did adore Ari's Petal, Porcelain by Peach PRC was pop perfection (Jordy's In Retrospect is up there too), NEVERALWAYS V2 by The Band Camino, and maybe Niall Horan's Dinner Party have been my favorites this year I'm a little nuts for music, so I have recs across every genre lol

Brianna Nicole

Tucker Harrington Pillsbury my BELOVED the new Chuck Timely album was also really good

Brianna Nicole

Hilary's was excellent for a comeback imo! Someone described it the opposite of divorced dad rock, they called it divorced mom pop and I love it lmao. Sabrina's SNS is also pop perfection, though I'm a little more partial to man's best friend now

Brianna Nicole

I SAID MTRENCH omg I feel seen. I recommended ever after if I had to pick one (I just felt like you need less context, like it's good for a new listener?) but MT is my favorite I think. I have a beside you tattoo even

Nana

Ruby album by Jennie, Rosie album by Rose. Both are members from Blackpink!

Ryann Rodkey

ooh thank you!! I've never heard Blackpink either!

Ryann Rodkey

oooh I've never heard SZA before so that would be super fun!! 🩶

Ryann Rodkey

ooooh thank you so much for these recs!! I haven't heard any of these!!

Ryann Rodkey

oooh! I have to listen to more Omar for sure!! and I must listen to those other recs too! thank you!

Ryann Rodkey

ooh yes! I think I only have heard like two Lizzy songs! I need to listen to Phoebe Bridgers and Mitski as well I fear

Ryann Rodkey

thank you for this! I've never heard of her!!

user12345678

i'd recommend ryan beatty's latest album and his last album calico if you're into singer-songwritey dreamy pop! the latest carly rae jepsen album is also fantastic. jensen mcrae as well for more singer/songwriter stuff.

fire12wife

This is an album I completely wore out! I got it on vinyl from my aunt, and I got it for each of my nieces as a graduation gift! Some things just have to be passed on, especially music! This album is one of the best of it's time, and EVERY song on it is incredible! Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill

Tammra

Not sure what genre you like but some of my favorite bands are Circa Survive, Interpol, One Ok Rock, and Beach House. If you want to try kpop I would suggest Got7, WINNER, and Infinite for boy groups and Twice and Girls Generation for girl groups. If you react to any of these I would be happy.

Ashley

Since you are open to branching out - if I may suggest a band called The Rose! they are a K-rock band but their singer is American so a lot of their music is primarily in English and they are amazing!! I have been to every tour. I would probably most recommend their album Heal or the newest one, Rose!

Ryann Rodkey

Awesome thank you!! The only genre that I really do not like and probably will never do is country 😅😅 everything else, I’m pretty open!! 🩶

gay nebula

I would love to see you react to either one of Ethel Cain's albums, anything by Billie Eilish or Lana Del Rey. Also would love to see you listen to "The Record" by Boygenius if you haven't heard it!

Ryann Rodkey

Oooh yes I haven’t heard Boygenius so I’ll add that!! 🩶

Tammra

Same 😅

Ryann Rodkey

Omg twins!! 🥳🥳 it’s just very much not my vibe lmao

Molly C

I'm a big fan of pop music, especially sad pop lol. Some of my faves are Taylor Swift (but I assume you've heard most of hers), Gracie Abrams, Olivia Dean, Phoebe Bridgers, Boygenius, Lana Del Rey, Ethel Cain, Mitski, Japanese Breakfast, Caroline Polachek, DJO, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX, Holly Humberstone, Maisie Peters, Aubrey Hobert, Chapell Roan, Noah Kahan, Sombr, Conan Gray, Dagny, SZA, Hilary Duff, etc. honestly most stuf hahahaha

Ryann Rodkey

ahhh we have very similar tastes! I like Taylor, the Gracie stuff I've heard I really liked, Olivia Rodrigo, Maisie Peters, Audrey Hobert, and Conan grey! I have to listen to all the others 👀
