what an episode. it was super fun to see Rory back in stars hollow with everyone but omg. the communication in this family needs some SERIOUS work bc clearly we are NOT fine and this is going to lead larger issues down the road I fear 🤣 RICHARD AND EMILY IN STARS HOLLOW!? I think not. please god no. also, very cute of Zack to go through all of that for Mrs. Kim's approval. I loved that! 🩶

Paris going off on Logan while Rory nods in the background is exactly the kind of thing I like to see lol. Such an iconic and memorable moment. I just wish their girls night wasn’t cut short because they deserved to have their Chinese food. Imagine if they invited Lane along to celebrate her engagement tho!!! 👀 (While I don’t like that she and Zack are getting married, it was such a wasted opportunity because I really wanted the show to make this underrated trio hang out a second time. We only really got that once from that one season 5 episode ☹️)

Is it weird that I consider this one of my favorite episodes lmaooo it’s not even in the top 5 or 10 or anything of the sort, so maybe it’s in the top 15, but I love how “normal” it is lol. It’s also super underrated. I especially really enjoyed the scenes between Zack and Mrs. Kim. They’re such a chaotic duo 😭❤️

Ok, so we can clearly see how uncomfortable Lorelai is with the whole bag thing, right? But does she say anything? No. Does she smile and act like it doesn't bother her? Yes. I feel like that is a pattern not just with the bag, but also with more important stuff in her relationship. (Back when she suggested to postpone the wedding, Luke also asked "are you OK with this" and she said yes.) ----- and yes, Rory has a similar pattern.

That was such a prime chance for Lorelai to speak on her feelings when Luke asked. Then you can see how she's modeling poor relationship communication for Rory and Rory does the same thing.

totally! this is one of the reasons why I'm not super angry or annoyed with Luke. he has asked a lot if everything is okay and she's sure she's fine, like in this episode and the postponing of the wedding. I mean he even asked her permission in a way to go on the field trip with April. but if she refuses to voice that there IS an issue when given the opportunity, it's no longer Luke's fault. he's not going to just assume she's not telling him the truth so like??? girl, just be honest and he will converse with you! 😭

I don't think it was appropriate for Anna to send the bag. it's disrespectful to Lorelai and Luke. I'm sure April told her that Luke is engaged. It's also wrong that Luke didn't send it back to Anna. Lorelai had already offered to take Luke shopping, or for her to just go buy one for Luke on her own if he didn't want to shop! I would have been pissed about it if I were Lorelai. I also don't like that Luke is keeping Lorelai from April! April needs to be worked into their relationship, not the other way around! April will only be a kid for another 5 years... she will go off to college and will be adulting all on her own, and Lorelai will still need to be ok in their relationship to get married, and STAY married for the rest of their lives. I get that Luke wants to do right by April, and that he's trying to make up for not being there, but it's not his fault he didn't know about her, and it REALLY wasn't Lorelai's fault. He needs to make it right with Lorelai, before she starts to resent him!

That's one of my favorite scenes from Paris! She gets Logan GOOD! Another line I loved from Paris, was when Rory called her because she wasn't already at the dorm on sophomore move-in day. Paris said she'd be there later, and that Asher was dead! Rory asks her, if he died while they were in bed together ...and Paris says, "No Rory, this great man was not brought down by my VAGINA!" 🤣🤣
