I gotta say Kaido is def my favorite villain so far ahead of Donquixote Doflamingo. He's just so badass.. bro could've killed luffy many times but chose to just be a chill drunk bastard LOL. Also holding his own vs G5 after fighting all night vs LITERALLY EVERYONE & clashing for 2-3 days nonstop vs BIG MOM prior to the raid... HE'S HONESTLY A FRICKIN' DAWG!! I hope you read this comment. But now my clues from way back makes sense now. (1) Bhuddhism and (2) East meets West. For (1) Notice Luffy only reaches his awakened state through a cycle of rebirth. Not only that if you look at the opening song for this chapter it begins with the "Ensou" which is a Japanese Zen Bhuddist symbol of cycles and the lyrics of the song end with "the time of resurrection has come". A lot of his fruit is based on awakening it in a Buddhist sense For (2) The team that helped animate this was Tom and Jerry Warner Brothers Studio. East meets West never before has this been attempted to bring together such different animation styles into one character. One Piece literally brought back the feeling of waking up on a Saturday morning to watch cartoons with your coco pops cereal whilst watching someone called Joy Boy. with a big smile on your face. Oda breaks the 4th wall without even trying.... I have clues for the future but it becomes harder and harder since a lot of the show is converging to an ultimate finale. I have some ideas think about old testament and legos. Only people who read the manga can make sense of this…..

That scene where all of the people at the fire festival were listing their prayers and the samurai were cheering on Luffy almost makes it feel like the prayers were going up to our captain. Like you can feel the whole of Wano counting on divine intervention, and it just so happens there's one fighting in the sky above them

It's peak isn't it, just each episode tops the other, the colours pop off the screen the animation! Luffy telling Momo I trust you! Like mg what a moment for Momo! I was going to leave that about Franky for the next arc but he was really sick for a long time and it gradually effected his voice. Hope he's resting and healing well now. xo

Really wish you had saved the conversation about Shanks for after the episode coz you really didn't quite clock how good the animation was for the first chunk of 1074. These episodes are CRAZY. The live action season 1 released a few days before episode 1074. That was an insane time to be alive for One Piece fans.

Kaido technically is right if you think about it whitebeard had possibly the strongest paramecia devil fruit with a great mastery of all three haki and roger was still his rival with his haki alone, its actually insane to think about how strong the older generation was because if Luffy didn't have his haki this whole story would've took a left and off a bridge lol.

When Jason talks about if Shanks gave the fruit to Luffy or he wanted for himself, for me he wanted to gave it to Ace who was on Dawn Island with Dadan at the time, but i'm sure that Oda Senei will have a blowing mind explanation for that.
