The middle aged Jonas knew Martha was gonna die by Adam. But middle aged Jonas didn't knew about other world. Adam knew I think 🤔 So I guess this is the first change happened in the series.

Dark worlds creates themselves at the same time Charlotte and Elizabeth come into existence at the same time but in different points of the timeline. Charlotte gives birth to Elizabeth and the same for E to Ch. But when the circle world is created it happens at the same time. Not linear. Circle. I know you must have end the series by now. But only 1 of the worlds follows the rules of biology.

Middle-aged Jonas tried to prevent Martha's death by putting her into the bunker and repeatedly makes her promise to not go out whatever the reason, and he failed... That scene with Martha killed by Adam really traumatized me at that time : I couldn't figure out what were Adam's motivations, and even in season 3, I struggled. Many people talk about Ulrich's fate, him seeing his children at the bus stop while being driven away by Egon as the most horrible scene of the show, but to me, Martha killed by Adam still gives me nightmares... I was excited by the elseworlds concept they introduced at the end (indeed, like in DC/Marvel universes) but was ultimately disappointed by what they did with it in season 3. The TV show Fringe (with Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble, Lance Reddick...) explored time-travel too and especially parallel earths with doppelgangers of the main characters and treated that latter topic waaaaaaaaay better. I'm a huge fan of Dark and passionate about the show, I still talk about it to my students when we study tragedy, time-travel, but my personal season 3 would have been very different from what we actually got. There are only a few stuff I like in it.

At the very beginning when adult Noah just gave the watch to little Elisabeth, it made me wonder: how did he communicate with her? did he just know the sign language by accident? After learning that they are Charlotte's parents it made sense

For Elisabeth and Charlotte, you’ll understand later on why it’s possible. Besides that explanation that will come later in Season 3, you have to also remember that paradoxes are a thing. Like the chicken and the egg, but then add time travel into the mix after the chicken lays the egg…. All I’ll say is the world in which all of Season 1 and 2 takes place in, is….I can’t think of a way to describe it without spoiling things. I’ll just leave it at the fact that you will learn why later in Season 3. It will make sense at some point, I promise.

I am so, so glad that you have Dark a chance. I KNEW it was exactly this the reaction you would have 😂 Imagine having to wait for two entire years until we got the season three, it was a nightmare! But don’t worry, the end holds totally up to the standards of the series. It will blow your mind tho.
