There's only 28 episodes across 3 seasons and the episodes are only 20 mins each. Definitely recommend for your next short series watch. Think Aussie John Wick without all the broody panache.

The Walking Dead is an S tier show for reactions, it is incredibly, surprisingly and unintendedly tailored for react channels, because this show predates the sprout of react channels in the last 5-10 years hence why there are not many TDW reactions on youtube or they were recorded with 144p-ish cameras by the few pioneers out there and the quality was abysmal compared to today's standards. Now, about the show, the early episodes of S1 are rough because the directors clearly didn't know fully what they were trying to to do from the beginning and what direction to go with certain aspects of the show it feels like it wasnt fully thought out before airing, they thought they could just drop an eye catching pilot with the sheriff looking dude shooting a zombie little girl (that inexplicably has the intelligence to pick up her stuffed animal) in the forehead for shock value in the opening scene and call it a day and then hope to develop a consistent story from there on out, a technique/mistake that will not survive the test of time when people that made it far into the series dare to go back and rewatch the cringeness of the early episodes (which we happily will if this show ends up winning the poll), the directors dropped the ball in particular with the zombies (known as walkers in the show) in setting up what parameters they were allowed to operate within, a quick example that comes to mind is in s1 ep1 or ep2 when the zombie mom is trying to enter the house by twisting the door knob and trying to look through the peephole, I know they did that for dramatic purposes but it was a terrible blunder on their part because for the the zombie to do that it needs to have some level of intelligence and they clearly don't (it's fine to make them intelligent if that's what they were planning to do from ep1, but it wasn't, so that scene is a straight up immersion killer for me, among a couple other scenes along those lines in early episodes mostly) . However, the good news is that the directors corrected a lot of their early mistakes and consolidated -for the most part- what the zombies can and cannot do by the time S2 came out to -a more than acceptable level- so we can relax on that regard and rest assured that the show will keep getting better from S2 onwards, so my advice is to take S1 with a grain of salt regarding "what's possible in the universe" so to speak in the very very early episodes, after that it will be a breeze of a show that provides a lot of things to discuss every single episode (which is what makes it great for reactions alongside the fact that there's hardly any filler episode or none at all, I can't remember one off the top of my head but there might be a couple lost in the mist of a monstrosity of an 11 seasons long show and some smartass might correct me).

I mean in fairness they did emphasis they won’t be watching the full thing, season 1-4 Vikings is far better than The Last Kingdom imo. The Last Kingdom finishing strongly and being 1 less season takes it on par overall for me. After season 4 I’m sure you’ll agree Vikings is missing something, I don’t think the endings bad but it definitely decreases in quality after Season 4 with that missing piece.

Sopranos is best show ever. I think Vikings may be one of the most enjoyable for the channel, especially after Dark and Better Call Saul, one long show and one mind twister. Vikings could be a good break as it’s entertaining but not too much on the mind. Then after that move onto something bigger like The Sopranos or Walking Dead.

TLK is such an underrated show! It's freaking awesome, easily in my top 5 all time fav shows! More reactors should watch it, they really should. Amazing cast, top tier writing, the whole lot! I get the appeal of TWD but even early days of TWD doesn't come anywhere close to TLK, plus TLK only has 10 eps per season (from S3 onwards) it's not that much of a long committment unlike TWD. That's my pitch for why TLK should win, and be watched 😂

It really is. I've seen it 4 times from start to finish on my own then twice from watch alongs with a couple of reactors, so 6 times total. It's such a underrated show. Cast and writing both brilliant, top tier couldn't act for better and as you said perfect amount of episodes. No filler episodes just to make it to 16-20 odd episodes each season. BBC did great with their 8 episodes in the first 2 seasons, and Netflix perfected it with 10

How is Sopranos not running away with this? Literally every single TV show owes a debt to The Sopranos. IMO greatest series of all time, and it was the first of the great ones. You have to watch it.

The Expanse is 10/10...but will probably never win the poll because its not as popular. If the voters watched it, I have no doubt majority would vote for it. If S&P want to react to it, they'll probably just have to make that decision themselves lol.

If I thought it would win I'd sign up again right now. Guys isn't there a way you could devide your reactions into categories.? Like maybe a vote on Patreon for new series etc but you get to watch something you want? You'd be surprised how many people would watch TLK!

Unfortunately, if new shows are added to new series polls every time, then Expanse and last kingdom will never win. Shows like that, historical fantasy or sci-fi will never beat out prime time "normal" shows like dramas The only exception was Game of Thrones of course, but that blended fantasy with drama and politics.

I know, right The Last Kingdom is such an amazing show but unfortunately it never wins a poll... at this point it gets frustrating how underrated it is. I wish they just gave it a chance without the polls because at this rate I don't see it winning anytime soon, and I have been voting on it for years.
