Altered Carbon. If you like "The Expanse", this sci-fi show is for you. I found both series to have a great initial season 1, but to me, Westwood disappointed more as the subsequent series went one. It's incomplete without all the following series and those were disappointing. Altered Carbon did the same but the series 1 was more self-contained (you can stop at series 1 and be happy) and it was also SPECTACULAR.

Firefly was so good they ended up making a movie about it called Serenity. One of my top 10 favorite movies of all time with a great cast.

The first season of Reacher and the first season of WW get my vote. Both are fantastic in very different ways. Reacher is fun and you don't have to think too much about it, but S1 sticks very close to the character and the book that the season is based on. The others...not so much.

Aware that a lot of the live action shows you’ve done are in the sci-fi/fantasy/action realm, I think it would be great to eventually see something grounded in reality like Succession. It’s a drama about the members of a ridiculously wealthy family vying for the position of CEO of their family business. The premise isn’t something I would normally watch on paper, but I think that’s a testament to how compelling it actually is. The best comparisons based on what you’ve watched so far is GoT/HoTD but in a modern, non-fantasy setting. Maybe similar to Breaking Bad in terms of overall tone. The storyline itself isn’t overtly complex, but it’s highly character driven and the acting is brilliant with a lot of gut punch moments. Although different to what you’ve watched, I think you guys would really enjoy the complex, morally-gray characters and I have a hunch that the main character is someone you both would really really sympathise/root for

I think releasing more TWD or watching 2 episodes of TWD at once in each release would be good. The show has so many episodes and I just don’t know if 2 episodes a week is enough. It should be like 3-4. I understand if it’s not possible but just wanted to give my opinion.

I'd love Succession, but they've done a ton of similar live action stuff. We have just gotten some sci-fi recently, previously it was all Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul and The British one with Cillian Murphy

Firefly is one of my fav series. I'm wondering if it might work better after Expanse though. Side by side as an older sci-fi show might be hard to hold up and the vibes are very different despite both being space shows. Westworld is also one of my favs, all seasons. Johnathon Nolan and Lisa Joy are awesome and are killing it on Fallout now. But I know most people just like s1 and maybe s2. I can't figure out why, I love the total arc, but it's a common reaction. Nolan said they still hope to finish s5 one day to properly end the story.

They did a lot of that stuff recently with the BB universe and Peaky Blinders so on. BUT I highly agree Succession is amongst the best TV shows of all time and they should 100% at least put in on a poll to see if it attracts peoples interest.

I checked Max since it's an HBO show and they don't have it wtf!? I can't believe it. So, yeah I'd have to buy it, probably buy the set for 60 bucks since the seasons are 25 each. And it doesn't look like it's temporary since they removed it 3 years ago. Good catch, this is important to know.

Have you considered Ted Lasso? It's different than anything you have watched and a wonderful mix of humor and wisdom. A comedy would be a good change. Otherwise, Westworld is amazing.

Worth noting, Westworld is not available to watch in the US, where I’d imagine a large portion of your viewing audience is located. Pretty sure you’d need to purchase a VPN subscription or buy the show outright to watch, at least legally that is. That could turn off a portion of your subscribers from actually watching it.

So does TWD. They still are watching it now and loving it. And it also has a big fanbase. And also a huge amount of lovable and hateful (you love to hate them XD) characters.. Obiously it's not for all of their viewers. But you can't please everyone. Sometimes reaction channels just watch shows you aren'T interested in.. and that's fine. :D

You guys should watch The Last Kingdom. Would probably end up being Spartans favorite show, and one of his favorite ever characters. Wow. Westworld, finally! I've been here from the beginning and there was a time when I legit thought it was never gonna win. With the Expanse and now Westworld, it would seem I'm on a good run lately. 🔥 It's a nice follow up to Severance too. Grounded, deliberately-paced, thought-provoking sci-fi whose fundamental themes overlap somewhat, with Westworld being more overtly philosophical. Looking forward to it.

I’ve seen Westworld season 1 and it was amazing. I really don’t have an explanation for myself why I didn’t see the other seasons. But this would be a good excuse to watch them. I also think firefly would be great for the severance spot too, since it’s only 1 season
