Alexander Felton

There’s a great deleted scene between Carol and Merle in this episode. I recommend you guys watch it.

Hi Joanna, this sounds like an issue on Patreons end or perhaps did you re sign up without using the bonus offer? if you can personal message us more information we will do our best to assist you

kevs777

I wonder if they can go at least one episode without mentioning Shane 🤣🤣

KP

lol we can surely judge Merle since he’s a full blown murderous sexist/racist. Rick does what he does to survive and hates the horrible things he has to do sometimes, Merle basks in his terrorism.

Jordan

I actually played a walker in this episode! Absolutely love you guys' reactions and breaking everything down! Can't wait for Season 4!

Jarrica Hennigan

I don’t know if you guys noticed but the reason why they move from a tragic moment to a happy moment so fast is because in The Walking Dead world that’s how fast you have to get over tragic things like within seconds because you’re always in survival mode just food for thought

spartanandpudgey

oh really!? what was it like? do you spot yourself at any time code on the reaction?

31:26 - The walker on the right who gets right up on the window w Merle. It was awesome, the makeup set was actually on the prison set. Michael Rooker (Merle) was super nice in person. When we all ate lunch, all us walkers were still in makeup which was funny, Norman Reedus (Daryl) was shooting that day as well and came over and took a pic with his phone of all of us. I live in Georgia, so I got to go back again in Season 6. The whole experience was surreal, but so much fun!

That's an excellent excuse for piss-poor editing and episode direction.

Kai

Daryl’s reaction to finding Meryl BREAKS ME every time. His vulnerability and he’s so devastated, and you can feel all the complex emotions. Norman Reedus is such an incredible actor and doesn’t get nearly enough credit.

I think Hershel was going to tell Rick to NOT do it after talking to his daughters. Remember, despite everything, Hershel is still a Christian, and I think the passage he's reading is very important to understanding how he feels. That passage is about having the strength/courage to follow God's will for us to walk in righteousness, even if that means putting yourself in a harmful situation, or possibly even dying. As he's reading the passage he's realizing they're choosing the 'evil' option out of fear of harm, rather than doing the right thing because it is right. When he tells his daughters "There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep you two safe", I don't think he is referring to keeping them alive, I think he's referring to their sense of 'good'. He would rather see them die doing the right thing, than to see them live on and become monsters: which would tie right in to the passage he's reading during that scene perfectly.

I hope y’all know that when this episode aired, Daryl’s reaction broke the internet. We all felt the sadness he felt even though none of us liked Meryl

I love that, “not like I want to marry her”. Lol, nobody thought that… XD
