Fun episode details; The title "Alone" refers to the different forms of solitude the characters face: Bob has lost previous groups, Daryl and Beth are separated, and Maggie sets off on her own to find Glenn. It was revealed by actress Sonequa Martin-Green on Talking Dead that her character, Sasha, was a firefighter before the apocalypse Characters Rick Grimes, Carl, Michonne, and Carol are all credited in the episode but do not actually appear. This episode marks the first physical appearance of the group of marauders known as the "Claimers" (specifically characters Harley, Dan, and Billy), led by Joe, who reappears after first being seen in a previous episode ["claimed"].

Sasha: "you need to sleep and heal" * growling intensifies * Bob: " i tried "😂 I really like bobs character man - this episode really showed him embracing bravery to pursue looking for Maggie with the risk of being Alone without a group again. I also like the scene where Daryl is at the crossroads, stumbling across the group at the house, very symbolic.

Crazy hearing Spartan using the words "syncing up to season 5". I can't believe we're this far along already. Season 1 doesn't seem that long ago.

That song is BlackBird Song by Lee Dywze. Perfect song for Bob and his story so far and it is so haunting and soulful. Just another example of excellent music in season 4 like with Hershel and Oats in the Water during 4x5 "Internment"

I love how these episodes show how attached these characters get to one another. It's likely only been something like a week or two since the prison, but look at Bob & Sasha blooming something, Maggie & Sasha having a sisterly bond, Daryl & Beth becoming best friends, each other's protector. It's like how when Andrea was dying she said "No one can make it alone now." And Daryl responds "Never could."

I forgot how good this episode was! Loved how it bookended with Bob and being alone. (Pudgey I had no problem with your word choice, put some coal in Spartan’s stocking Christmas Eve! 😃). Getting to know characters more and finally it seems everyone is going the same direction. Almost everyone. We will have to see w Daryl and Beth.

At the beginning, you guys were real suspicious of Bob. Those of us that knew probably were chuckling because it was just a matter of time before you'd like Bob. He's not a bad person, just that he was coping with the end of the world in a bottle. It worked out in the end. That's what counts. Can't wait for the rest of this season's vids. You guys are going to have a good time.

I love Sasha & Maggie’s friendship!! Daryl & Beth are my favorite duo outside of Michonne and Carl! Growing up I always seen Daryl & Beth as a father daughter duo but I did have mix feelings. I think just due to age. If she was older, I think they could’ve done something with them. That silent moment they had felt …different for sure lol

I always felt this was the weakest episode of season 4B, but it's still really good! Which just goes to show what a powerhouse of a season this was. Cannot wait for the next reaction!!

THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN PAST THIS EPISODE!!!!!! So a little bit of background for you both: Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney (Daryl and Beth) have been quoted saying that had Beth not died they may have explored a romance between the two characters. Lauren Cohan (Maggie) has said in an interview that she thinks Maggie would have approved and she herself as a viewer was enjoying them together. Scott Wilson (Hershel) said in an interview that Hershel would have also approved. Personally I shipped them at the time, I now as a viewer where I’m at I ship Carol and Daryl. People get weird about Beth and Daryl because the age gap (she’s 18 and he’s mid 40’s) but in this kind of world I don’t think it matters and honestly where Daryl is so innocent when it comes to love type of feelings it would of worked with Beth.
