GoT wasn't a bad finale. It was an inevitable one and it's uncomfy to admit. Stranger Things had a... brighter ending, more hopeful. Both great ends, but what makes Stranger Things the better finale is that the Duffers took their time and aired out everything they needed to instead of rushing.

The thing with the herbicide: Hop is a Vietnam war veteran and I think in the war he was exposed to poisonous gas which is probably also why his daughter eventually got cancer

me personally i think the finale was okay. not at all like GOT. but i think it was 100% designed for general viewers like spartan and pudgey who don’t go back and analyse the show. so much was left unanswered, like the women in the upside down who were pregnant, how hopper actually got his job back, why didn’t the military notice the massive explosion in episode 6, i think if i put aside all my questions then yeah sure, but i feel like they wanted to just kind of get this over with. the mind flayer never actually died, that was just the physical body. speaking of vecna, i felt like he was defeated so easily. he was throwing cars in episode 4, but in ep7 el could barely lift a truck the right way up again. so i find it weird el won in that moment. nonetheless though i understand how hard it would be to wrap up a show this big and not follow through with fanservi e but i think for me this was defo one of the weakest seasons, if not the worst one, and while it did have its good moments, i don’t think it shows their need for an almost $500million budget, when id argue season 4 looked the exact same or in some points a lot better. been a good journey watching you guys watch this, maybe ill still be here and watch some new shows with you too.

I would have accepted El’s death in any way other than a sacrifice. The whole “stop the cycle by killing themselves” message, breaks my heart for those struggling. They missed the mark on this finally.

Interesting to hear other people's perspective on the final ep. I personally think they got it all wrong with killing Eleven off. For me, Stranger Things is a feel good series, Eleven needed to survive in my view.

Am I the on,y one who was confused with the scene with Max and Vicky. They had them act as if they didn’t know what was happening when it was all part of the plan. Max guides El and 8 and Vicky stays with max so why did they have max act like she was scared and Vicky acting like she didn’t know what was happening. Then outta nowhere she’s calm and puts max in the wall to hide from the military?? Am I missing something??

Lots of unanswered questions, but I think we needed a smaller cast. I did love Holly and Derek, but maybe smaller parts. My MVP actors for this season only were Jamie Campbell Bower (Henry and Vecna) - the man commits, Sadie Sink (Max), and even though she was new Holly (forgot the actors name) I do think this s3ason was so hyped, that it was bound to leave some people disappointed. I liked the ending. The thing about the kids all being apart, not just for university, but it sounded like permanent, a lot of people in the US move away from small towns for work. Many families see each other maybe two or three times per year. My family is scattered all over. The closest ones being over 200 miles so pretty far. That is a 4 hour drive. My parents are 500 miles, an 8 hour drive. Two other siblings one out West and one in Florida. Plane only unless wanting to drive for days.

In my opinion, the show absolutely nails the ending for the characters while not nailing the supernatural side as much I love how it presented the endings as what they are. Potential futures. We don't know what will truly happen, we can just hope. Mike doesn't actually know what will happen to his friends, to Eleven or to himself. But he voices his hope and gives us the audience hope

Nah, it made absolutely perfect sense. She would have been hunted for her entire life. It is also fitting because she is E.T and Mike is Elliot.

I thought they nailed the ending, there was definitely too much focus on relationships when they really didn't matter. Friendship was the key and that should have been enough. How they did Elevens end I thought was brilliant, it leaves it open for the viewer to choose to believe.
