---------------------------------------------------------------------------Full Length Reaction GuideWe take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

Use Google chromes picture in picture mode to overlay your own copy of the show over our reaction in a smaller window size (Link to the extension here: ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en )

Final season! While season 6's opening also has some changes in every episode, it is nowhere near the level of season 5's opening. -In the ISS flyover of Europe we see UN Navy ships on standby. -The clip of the flooded and ruined Baltimore is updated to show meteors falling in the distance, as the Bombardment of Earth continues. -A new clip of a farm and a man falling in despair as more meteors rain down on Earth. -A new clip of Mars, with the MCR Navy ships on standby. -A new clip of an asteroid field, with a ship called Azure Dragon hiding by one. -Ceres Station! With some ships traveling towards it. -The Ring Gate is guarded by Free Navy ships. -A clip focusing on the Ring Station with some beams coming from (firing towards?) 2 gates. And then two bands appear wrapping around it. -The clip of the Laconia gate is updated to show the red effect of the Ring Entities as an MCRN ship makes the transit. -A new clip of Laconia before the title reveal.

I'm glad Naomi finally made it into Love/Likes! Even if it's a pity Like.

[Comment suppressed] At this point I lost the plot a bit I will admit. In retrospect I think I was still reeling from Alex' death. Not sure if I ever got over it, not even now. I understand in the books (again, never managed to get past the first chapters on several attempts) he didn't die? Edit: Wanted to point out that there is a game in development 'The Expanse: Osiris Reborn' ... Just saying. Edit2: Dawes (and somebody correct me) is out of the picture because the actor was busy with another insanely good SciFi series called Foundation where he has a main role. The whole series surprised me and I absolutely loved his performance and that of Lee Pace (who played the Elven King in The Hobbit).

Sheri

Poor Spartan. We were all spewing that they killed Dawes off screen so we never see him again. We all feel your pain! :-(

Paul

Yeah, I can't wait to play Osiris Reborn!

Marco's actor was perfectly cast (Keon Alexander - what a strong name too lol). Especially being otherwise unknown, never saw him in anything else before. No shame in having him on your love list, as a character he's an awesome antagonist, kind of like a Tywin Lannister. Hate him but also love that he existed in the show as a foil for our crew and beyond. Also, it's somewhat subtle but Marco effectively has his own theme song that slowly rolls it as he gives a speech, making every word even more epic and profound (even if it's rooted in manipulation) than it otherwise would be. Avasarala meanwhile perfectly describes the tone of the show and our characters. Beaten, broken, desperately clinging to any small victory, but it just isn't enough...

Mo

Love season 6 so much! excited to finish this journey with you guys

It is VERY UNFORTUNATE that Jared Harris was not able to continue on with the show. It would have been very interesting to see what the dynamic/conflict between Dawes and Marco would have been given how big both characters are and their positions in the belt! While we couldn't get that, hopefully we can at least one day get S7-S9 because not seeing that would also be VERY UNFORTUNATE!

Jonas Doksaeter

Just for the sake of keeping hope alive for a S7-9, the books takes a 30 year time-jump between 6 and 7 so the writers/creators of the TV series have expressed an interest in picking the story up again to make the final seasons. I hope they get proper full length seasons if so, I like S4-6 but I miss the world-building S1-3 did when the story was given room to breathe.

David Seeholzer

A vote of sympathy for Spartan wishing we got to see more of Anderson Dawes. The little bit we got of that character in the show was intriguing and hinted at so much more than we got to see. I think that is in large part because of the phenomenal actor who portrayed Dawes. Jared Harris was the star and main character in the Chernobyl mini-series, which was shot when the Expanse was going from season 3 to season 4. I'm guessing that was a big part of the scheduling challenge. What a moving and incredible performance that was in Chernobyl.

Loved the LLH list!! At this point, and I know it’s not fair to make crossover comparisons… but I’m curious, Amos Burton or Daryl Dixon? From what we’ve seen they have so much in common, background, actions, priorities, communication… so similar it’s crazy and probably an impossible choice.
