Whoever said that this show couldn't hang with the likes of breaking bad or Game of Thrones at the time, I would like to talk to their dealer cos I want me some of that magic sauce.

Surprised someone hasn’t said it yet but the fire Mika saw in episode 14 was the house Daryl and Beth set on fire in episode 12. And the burnt walkers were the ones drawn to the fire right at the end of episode 12

Also, the leader who took over terminus and hits Gareth at the end of the episode in the flashback is the same guy who ran out of the train car screaming at Rick

Carol MVP legendary !!! Glad Rick’s Murder Jacket got a shout out!! 😃 I love this episode so much, the brutality and action, and then yes I always cry with the reunions at the end!

Yeah and for anyone outside the US, Sunday night football gets all of the eyeballs, it was rare any show would go head to head with SNF much less beat it in ratings. Sopranos is the only other show I can think of that did this, but being an HBO show I don’t think viewership was ever released.

Wish you'd let the credits play so we don't have to sync again for the after credit scenes. There are several episodes this season with after credits, and the next episode won't auto-play if there is one.

I love how Rick was the only one who wanted to make sure that all of them were dead, like I said , he’s a beast and doesn’t take any chances. I also love Rick’s appreciation of Carol doing what she did and saving them and also his interaction with Tyreese saving his child and you can see how much he appreciates that as well. Fun fact , at the time this was the highest viewed episode of any show ever.

The same man yelling "We're all the same!" was the same man at the end who took the woman. So he deserved what he got. The lady who was the mom of Gareth mentioned what they were doing to the women. And they eventually took over and became evil.

Rick at the end wanting to go back in and kill everyone was a direct result of leaving the govenor and their people alive. The whole prison got destroyed because, as carl said "you knew they were out there and you did nothing until they came here and destroyed everything"

IMO this is the darkest episode of TWD. Cannibalism, sexual assault, human gore (the bat/cut throat combo) and then threatening to snap judiths neck. Honestly that scene at the end of the girl being held prisoner being taken and begging not to have it happen again almost had me shut off the episode. glad they didnt drag that scene out any longer than they did but that was just about too dark for me to want to continue watching if it kept on. i guess some of these post-apocalyptic worlds seem scarier when it is becoming more and more clear in real life that there are a lot of people who actively think like this and are just waiting for their opportunity to go off the deep end if they think they can get away with it.

Seriously? No love for Carol?! Not love, not a like, not so much as an honorable mention. You guys slept on Daryl and couldn’t see the potential of his character because you were so enamored with Shane. You guys keep sleeping. You saw in this episode what Carol is capable of when push comes to shove. But keep giving Tyrese your love who allows a stranger to get close enough to Judith to twist her neck.

FYI, the group that guy referred to in season 2, they don’t matter. It’s OK to forget about them. It’s not a lose end. It’s just a group that character was a part of who sounded like they were dangerous. Maybe they’re alive or maybe they all dead now because that was a while back. It doesn’t matter though. Because there are many many groups of dangerous men out there, with all sorts of methods and agendas, as you saw in this episode. It’s a big scary world with all sorts of scary people in it. Sometimes things do tie back to other plot elements. And sometimes it’s just weird random shit that is happening in the world that out characters haven’t encountered before. Don’t assume everything you see in the show or what crazy thing our main characters come across has something to do with events or characters we already know. Like something that does connect that you guys haven’t picked up on yet. The fire Carol and the girls saw in their episode, that fire was the big fire Daryl and Beth started when they burned down the moonshine shack. That’s why it burned so long.

I’m well aware of that. The character has had a dramatic arc over the course of the show going back to season one. And the episode from last season, The Grove, is among the very best episodes of the entire series. What Carol had to do in that episode immediately places her as one of the strongest characters in the show.

The episode set a record at the time as the most-watched non-sports cable broadcast in U.S. history with 17.29 million viewers. During a particularly intense scene, the actors playing Rick, Glenn, Daryl, and Bob had partially genuine reactions because they were not fully informed about the special effects used. For the safety of the infant actress playing Judith, her own father's hands were used in a scene where she is threatened. It featured the series' first post-credits scene, including the return of Morgan Jones. Keep up the epic work 🤩🤩

Without Carol, they wouldn't be alive if she hadn't helped them; Group 0, finished. A lot of people forget that. She went from a battered, fragile woman to a strong, woman who saved her entire group. If that's not a pretty impressive character evolution, I don't know what is.

Every character is important to the show and contributes to its charm, but I particularly appreciate the evolution of a character who seemed destined to stay in the background. Carol went from being the weakest, most fragile woman haunted by the loss of her child to a transformed, courageous warrior who is no longer afraid to fight. I truly admire this growth. After she saved the group [at Terminus], she deserves a special mention. Plus, her bonds with Daryl and Tyreese are deeply touching. This is just my opinion, of course, but I wanted to share it

The guy in the container that they let out... who was yelling 'we are them'.... he was one of the guys who took over Terminus at the beginning. They showed him coming into the container when they were pulling people out to r*pe or eat.

I love that scene with that man and Tyrese in the cabin because that man is literally telling him who he is.
