Hey S&P Fam!

We hope you've all had a lovely holiday period with your family, friends and loved ones. 🥳🎅🏽💕

We just wanted to update ya'll that over the next two weeks we will be slowing down content to allow us to have some time away from our TV screen and desks and enjoy some Australian sun - Yes, sun in December... weird right? 🤣🌞

What this means for all of you:

5th - 11th Jan & 12 - 18th Jan: * The Walking Dead x1 ep [instead of usual 2]* The Expanse x1 ep [instead of usual 2]* Westworld x1 ep [no changes here]

The schedule will resume back to normal on the 19th Jan. We will be kicking off the New Year of 2026 with a BANG as we will be adding new shows for a jam packed schedule!👀

Apologies Joan, our intention is not to inconvenience anyone. we actually do record many reactions in advance around this time of year because with all the festivities etc. going on we dont do a lot of recording, so we try to keep a steady flow, but periods come up where we need to slow content down. we appreciate your patience and understanding 🙏🏼

When creators do something like this when a show is close to ending it does definitely feel like, whether they mean to or not, they want to get another month's worth of subscriptions from the viewers that are only there for that show.

Ya but this isn’t a one-off thing and you’re not giving people what they’ve already paid for lol.. The reactions have been cut down multiple times for multiple weeks( At least 3 times) since I’ve been here.. Lower the subscription fees then if you don’t want to do the work! Like I keep saying if it’s personal stuff or serious that’s different! I’d like a refund if possible:) like I said I love the reactions but I’m just not getting what I paid for..

Thank you for your response, but what you wrote makes zero sense. You're prepared, but you're not? When tragedy and health issues have happened, we've all been supportive even though you clearly weren't prepared then, either. Labeling taking our money and not fulfilling your end of the transaction as an "inconvenience" says it all.

Joan, it's also interesting after their post about the Stranger Things YouTube strikes affecting their income that they'd decide to take unscheduled time off risking losing Patreon supporters. I've been making it a point to "like" and "hype" their YouTube videos to help them out, but now I feel like that isn't important after all.

alright guys let's move on otherwise we'll delete the thread as its not serving any benefit now. everyone can feel how they feel, we appreciate the support from each of you and we do our best, but this time with our family and friends is a non negotiable for us. we do this every year. we actually aren't recording for 4 weeks for various reasons but recorded extra to be able to only slow down for 2 weeks. we always do our best, but we are also just 2 people and arent going to be able to make everyone happy all the time. we have heard your feedback and will take it into consideration next year. Have a happy new year and may you all have a great 2026

I personally get your frustration.. You have a right to feel upset that you feel like you paid for something that you aren't getting.. On the flipside they have a right to take a break. However, I do think more notice would have been appropriate. Especially considering they are on the more expensive side when it comes to reactors on patreon. I was going to resub to finish the Expanse with them. However, I think for me.. I cant justify paying 2 months for a few episodes. I will have to support on youtube and wait. I hope they enjoy their vacation however.. I will be just stepping back for now for these financial reasons. Guess I am a brokie too.

Yes, but it should be planned ahead and communicated. I would have unsubscribed for this month and picked it up again next month to get my full value. However, when I did go to cancel yesterday I was offered 40% off for next month so I feel we're even now. 😉

I don't blame them for relaxing or taking a break. But we also need to think about those who pay for this content and consider a solution. They could offer a cheaper monthly subscription when there's less content. (It's possible, isn't it?) When they plan to take two-week breaks, for example. And then resume as usual when the regular content returns.
