Hey S&P Fam,

2 quick announcements for ya'll.

Dexter has won the poll and will be the show replacing The Expanse in the future. as always some people are upset that their choice lost but next year is looking STACKED with live releases and we do plan on increasing the frequency of movie reactions so we hope there will be a little something for everyone!

We will be continuing Westworld Season 2. we likely wont go further than that at this stage as was in the initial poll.

I wish people who love watching reaction videos would start pulling their weight and watch shows like Black Sails. It's PERFECT for S&P, but the constant deluge of new content just swamps shows like that out. PLEASE give shows like Black Sails and The Wire a chance, people. Dexter would be so much fun! Super entertaining and great for reactions. It's one of those shows for me where it can be episodic but the main character is just so iconic that you get really invested in the overarching story and themes.

Second polls determine the real winner considering the people who voted for other shows in the poll change their vote to the next best like how into the spider verse was beating Up in the first poll and Up won in the second poll meaning the entire community actually wanted up to win so yes the second poll is essential to determine the actual winner in the community.

I'm really glad about Westworld. As many said, it does fall off in season 3, but season 2 is still very strong. Some won't agree but for me personally it's as strong as S1 and my personal favorite.

I think you will enjoy WestWorld season 2 as much as season 1 and won't resist the opportunity to see Aaron Paul again in season 3. Some people also told me to not watch it, and I agree it is completly different from s1 & 2, but I found it really enjoyable. I don't regret at all. Just watch the trailer after you finished s2 before taking your decision. I wish you all the best

So there won't be season 3 and 4 of WestWorld right i thought you will continue to watch the series to the end for me all seasons are amazing you just need to understand them i know sometimes its confusing with the flashbacks but still is enjoyable to watch i hope my post will change something and you will continue further after season 2 but in the end everyone have different opinion thanks atleast what you will watch to season 2 ❤️

I don't understand the logic of planning in advance not to finish a series. If it doesn't hold up and you want to quit, that is one thing. But why start something knowing you aren't going to finish it? It is kind of batshit.

because many factors are considered. we were told that S3 & 4 of westworld start an unfinished story and overall have a massive decline in quality. combined with the fact that the viewership for season 2 already will likely make it barely viable with regards to the cost of editing, producing etc. the expected drop off for S3 & 4 just isn't worth the cost of time, the slot it would hold, the editors we pay etc. unfortunately everything is still weighed up on a value basis as this is our livelihood its not as simple as just "finish it and find out". however we do extensive research and consideration before making decisions like these and they arent common.

Lol. I love reaction channels and have seen quite a bit of Black Sails. It's impressive looking from a production standpoint, but I never really got attached to the characters. Same thing with Breaking Bad. I could tell it was well written and produced, but couldn't get into the story because of the characters. I just wasn't invested. Don't assume people would automatically vote for the show if they saw it.

You should check out a pirate show by the name of Black Sails. 5 seasons of perfection. I would argue it's better than GoT because it stays great from beginning to end.

if you are talking to me, sorry but I don't know the entire history of everything they have ever said. I actually only joined the channel *after* they started Westworld, specifically for Westworld. So I don't know about what was said prior to starting. that being said, I have no issues with their response or reasoning. I will also probably leave after Season 2, as the other shows they watch for the most part are suitable for the YouTube edits. Something like Westworld (or The Wire or Sopranos if they watched them) I feel need full uncut viewings..

Also, you should know that Dexter falls off HARD after the first 3-4 seasons. You might want to abandon that, as well.

Fear i lost the hope that it will ever get picked after Dexter won over it, cause Imo that's just insane that of everything on the poll that gets picked. You'll have to excuse my negativity. I'm a big westworld fan and wish they would react to the whole show, as it still would be short. However I don't think it would get much views so I get why they want to stop at season 2. The show was cancelled after season 4 so it's not even like they're going to miss the "true" ending, season 2 offers a decent stopping point imo

I'm always surprised to hear people don't like season 2, I clearly remember when it aired and everyone enjoyed it as much as season 1. It's the later seasons that took everyone by surprise but it's still very good, people were just mad to see the story evolve

Do you think the majority of people don't like Breaking Bad? Regardless, if I were recommending a show to you - having read that you just said - I would not recommend any of my favorites because we clearly like different things. But we're talking about Spartan and Pudgey and I've watched them react to enough things to know that they enjoy shows that are deeply character driven with rewarding redemption arcs, interesting gray characters and at least the occasional action. (I mean, Black Sails...it's pirates vs the European navies in the time before Treasure Island! I imaging fans of historical shows would enjoy it.) My real concern is that the older - in my opinion still amazing - shows are no longer winning or even coming close. I can't help fighting for them.

Big fan of Westworld, but I wouldn't have watched the reactions past season two, not enough "wow" moments. That said, I don't think it's a really good move in the long run to only consider financial considerations / popularity of shows to pick, I think it's a bit cynical. i watch reaction to see other people enjoying the same things I enjoy, if I start to think it's ultimately only for money, it tends to drive me away.

I can't speak for anyone else but i rly liked it and it has good pacing for reaction channels (better than BB). I also always loved pirates growing up so there is some nostalgia for me to see a GoT x Pirate of the Caribbean crossover as an adult lol Unfortunately i think its one of those shows that goes under the radar due to platform etc but that a lot of people who enjoy shows like vikings, expanse etc would like it too

@Ducactus what is strange about it? other than the very reasonable reasoning we provided above, which can only be appreciated if you understand how much time and money goes into producing each reaction and that this is literally how we pay our bills, we have also been transparent about this every step along the way. from the polls it was always Season 1 & MAYBE 2 that people were voted on after community feedback and polls heavily swaying in this favour. then we stated many times during Season 1 of westworld in our intros, which you must have missed, what the plan is going into this. it has all been very clearly laid out. if we see after S2 there is quite the demand for S3 onwards we will reconsider, but we will have to see that its worthwhile doing. when a majority of the already niche Westworld fanbase is showing little to no interest beyond S2 then what logical reason would we have to continue a reaction series of content on this? it would make much more sense for us to continue watching it privately if we desire to do so.

This reasoning is BS tbh. Other shows have poor seasons that people don’t like but people generally still tune in regardless because they are invested in you as reactors. Sometimes it’s just as fun to watch someone react to something you don’t like as much as it is to watch reactions to something you do. Perfect example being the last few seasons of GOT or TWD. Imagine if you had stopped reacting to the later seasons of GOT because people told you they sucked and the quality fell off? And you guys acting like continuing a short show is going to make or break you financially 😭 you make thousandsssss of dollars a month via Patreon and YouTube. Editing costs are nowhere near what you are pulling in. One short lived slot taking a *potential* reduction in viewership is not going to affect you. And I say this as a content creator myself. I’ve never seen a reaction channel driven purely off money before and not love/enjoyment of the material they’re watching. Many people, myself included joined Patreon for this show. And I’ve seen just as many people advocating in the comments here and on YT for you to finish as I have for those saying you shouldn’t. When you said in the beginning that you may not do the whole show I think many ppl assumed it would be based on if you enjoyed it not just arbitrarily dropping it because some ppl said so. The way you’ve treated this show is completely different than every other show or franchise on this channel and it’s bizarre

Fear the Walking dead is sooooo interesting, especially season 1-2 because it gives you a different perspective of the apocalypse, as opposed to the original series where we are kinda just thrown into where the apocalypse has already started. When Rick wakes up in the hospital its been a few weeks, maybe a month since it all started, but Fear the Walking Dead starts before that
