So I agree with Spartan, now that you know Egg is Aegon Targaryen, Remember Maester Aemons final words when he died! “ Egg, I dreamed I was old!” Maester Aemon died at 102 years old.

Egg's father, Maekar, is actively looking for him and his older brother, Prince Daeron, after they failed to arrive at the tournament as expected. The search was never announced publicly as to avoid appearing even more 'unstable' as a House than they already are, and also to prevent their missing sons from becoming targets. (Since relations with the Targaryens have remained tense across Westeros ever since the Dance of the Dragons, and openly missing princes would invite danger rather than aid). So thank goodness Egg ran into Ser Dunkan lmao. And now I truly think that the drunk guy at the inn in episode 1 was Daeron. 'Daeron the Drunken'.

The showrunners really captured the whole saying "every time a Targaryen is born, the gods flip a coin". Both sets of brothers emulate this, one is bad, and one is good.

in this show we are 80-ish years before everything that happens in Game of Thrones, so the Mad King, Aerys, (Dany’s dad) isn’t alive yet!

A good summary of the current targaryens is like this: King Daeron II (Daeron The Good) has been king for 25 years. Dorne is also now apart of the kingdoms, in part due to Daerons wife being a Martell, hence why Baelor has dark hair. Daeron has 4 sons. Baelor, the heir and hand who has 2 sons, one of which we have seen, Valarr. Aerys, (not the mad king) who is childless Rhaegel, who has 3 children And Daerons youngest, Maekar, who has 4 sons. Daeron the drunk, Aerion Brightflame, Aemon (GoT nights watch maester aemon), and Aegon (Egg)
