I hope you guys also checkout the sequel trilogy! In my opinion I prefer them over the prequels. I loved the prequels when I was younger, but they're a little bit more hard to watch now haha

It's not like those episodes don't expand on the Star Wars world. All episodes tell a story of some kind. And if they want to explore more of the SW world like they said at the end of the new Star Wars reaction, TCW does that amazingly. Both world and characters. So many storylines for all the characters get missed. So I think it atleast deserves a chance.

Andor, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett would be a good watch after you finish the next trilogy. Maybe even Obi-Wan Kenobi. I think the animated series delves in deep into the lore but it is too extensive in my opinion which would lock you in for a long time. Unless this is what you guys want, whatever you choose is good with me. Can't wait for the next reaction. Is it next week already?

I'd love to see you react to the clone wars movie & series, it's a big commitment but extremely worth it, it shows the clones having individual personalities making you emotionally attached to them and also introduces Ahsoka, who is one of my favourite characters in Star Wars and you don't get to see her in the movies.

Man the Sequels are so much harder to watch IMO. Im not saying the prequels are better movie, but they are great star wars, ulike the sequels.

Not sure that you’re interested in this but in The Walking Dead if you remember Dale, everybody love Dale. He was also in the green Mile. I don’t know if anybody recognized him in the green Mile versus The Walking Dead just a little interesting fact.

Watch obi wan kenobi seeies its short and only adds to the movies. Clone wars is cool but so long before u get to the good stuff not worth it in my opinion. Thou when u get to the good stuff boy is it legendary. Mandolorian is fun 1st season is a must on or off channel. Havent seen andor thou i hear its really good. But i dont think it connects to much but rogue one

This is certainly one of the takes of all time, considering how much the prequels, despite their flaws, contributed to the world-building of the SW universe. The sequel trilogy did nothing but UNDO everything the first 6 movies established while adding nothing new and instead recycled old characters, factions and vehicles. Spoilers, obviously, but as of TFA, Anakin is no longer the chosen one as the Empire's back and even stronger than before somehow, with a new, more powerful Death Star obviously (because why not), Palpatine's back, etc. It was very obviously an attempt at exploiting the nostalgia of those who grew up with the OT but somehow Disney messed it up so bad that they also made the the rebellion's struggle and victory as well as Vader's redemption utterly pointless, not to mention all the inconsistencies it brought into Star Wars. The saga only makes sense anymore if you consider 1-6 to exist independently of 7-9 and 7-9 independently of 1-6. They are literally logically incompatible.

Red letter media put out the Plinkett reviews long before the sequel trilogy was thought of. The sequels were also reviewed years later. I still think the Plinkett reviews hold true to this day as to how awful the prequels were. The sequels are a different discussion and have their own criticisms. I personally think South Park nailed the sequel critique well when they had the Member berries episodes…
