Joey

Oh its early early i like this 😈

Miloš 🇷🇸

AAA Right before work 😭😭 so ready for this, and the cosplays look so sick!!!!

Brody Reeks

And the prophecy comes true

erin🦅

Love the intro👏🏼

Farbod

You two look amazing. Respect. Glad you are so invested. It really comes through in the reactions. Excited for this one!

Brody Reeks

The smile i got from that intro was massive

Cooper

Just got off work the timing couldn’t be better let’s go

MajinVegeta420

Dammit why yall gotta post this while im at work now i cant wait to grt home lol *get on hands and knees bowing up and down* "all hail princess pudgey"

Hans Engelen

Wrong princess outfit! Noooooooooooooooooooo!

Josh Gibson

We’re finally here! From the little kid trapped in slavery on Tatooine to this. The culmination of the prophecy is upon us. Destiny is all! It’s been great watching your reactions to get a glimpse of what it’s like to watch it in chronological order. I am going to skip the next few Star Wars Reactions (no power on Earth will make me watch the sequel trilogy again) but so looking forward to when you get to Andor!! It’s honestly some of the best “Star Wars” there has been. P.s. watch Last kingdom soon!

Shawn Gordian

Space Balls before episode 7 right?

David Cansler

Great intro for the original series finale!! Just needed Spartan to give us a Vader affect and breathe a little harder during some of the episode. Just a heads up in case u didn't know but in the original ROTJ at the end, it wasn't the younger Anakin that they showed with Yoda and Obi Wan. It was the older Anakin.

Wes

Best Intro of the year!

Gitte

Yeah watching the prequels first was definitely the right call

Avery Kenner

I hope we get a Kenobi watch so they can experience the Obi-Anakin dynamic within it!

Jo

Now I need them to livestream Jabbe the Pudgey at a buffet...

Lee Keogh

Finally! Glad to hear you'll be watching the shows they add more to the story and add depth to the characters you already know which makes the story even more meaningful, Andor, Obi-Wan-Kenobi and Mandalorian are great BUT the animated shows like The Clone Wars and Rebels in particular are a must for me they're so so good and make the galaxy feel so much bigger I hope you guys watch them some day.

Luca

bro i started smiling so hard watching the intro haha keep it up guys

Dirk Diggler

woah, they aren't showing you the alien translation... that was in the original movies. Jabba says "this bounty hunter is my kind of scum... fearless and inventive"

Sheri

Shame you didn't have subtitles for Jabba (which are meant to be there.) But you still got the gist of it.

Farbod

Perfect... it was perfect. An amazing reaction. This whole journey has been such a fun ride. I am glad you enjoyed it as much as we did watching you... That last ghost reveal made it all worth it.

Jacob Sparks

Just don’t watch the rest keep this feeling you’ll be better off 😂😂

Brady Meyers

BEEN LOVING THIS JOURNEY. I have only watched 7, 8, 9 one time and im excited to watch them a second time with you. BY THE WAY, Luke was using anakins lightsaber in the first two movies, by the 3rd movie he had made his own lightsaber with his new green cyber crystal. the cyber crystals choose the jedi and are what power the lightsabers. the main theories for the colors of the crystals is that green sabers shows the jedi is more connected to the force and blue sabers shows the jedi is more of a warrior, yellow is temple guards, purple shows the jedi can use the dark force back towards dark jedi, and white would be a grey jedi that follows no code.

Danny

That intro gives so much hype!

Musashi

Nice. I have to say I still prefer the OG trilogy first watch. In the end you say you wouldn't be that emotional if you hadn't watched the prequels, but on the opposite, thinking all the time that there's Anakin under the mask gets you distracted in ways you only realize when you watch 4-6 first. Anyway, great reaction, take care

Branflakes

Return of the Jedi is referring to Vader returning to Anakin. The original trilogy is so peak. Vader in the end is always emotional.

Athraxz

If you have time and are interested in how ruthless vader really was, I'd definitley recommend you to read the comics

Justin Stewart

And now…the prophecy is fulfilled. Anakin is the Chosen One, and has destroyed the sith and brought balance to the force. As written ✌🏼 loved the reaction guys, so fun!🔥

Light Movies

They didn't added Anakin at the end, they just replaced the old actor with the new one. There was Sebastian Shaw, the one you saw unmasked, and they replaced him in 2005 with Hyden Christensen.

BigBoyBenKenobi

Please watch the Kenobi show. It takes place between Revenge of the sith and a new hope.

James Waters

The beginning had me thinking about what if Darth Vader was Australian. "That's not a lightsaber, THIS is a lightsaber". Only Australian reference I know

Luke Turner

It’s all down hill from after here boys

Easton

I love that how even when Anakin becomes Vader he still fulfills the prophecy of the chosen one, Luke is just the catalyst that brings it out of him. He never gave up on his father even with the likes of Obi Wan believing Anakin was truly gone.

Torben

hell yea!

Torben

they decided to put young anakin there cuz its hes last part were he was good.

Nathan Jasper

I hope the Star Wars journey never ends! Love how excited you guys have gotten every entry and how more and more engaged you've been. Can't wait for the next trilogy!

Shut Up Meg

The parallels between revenge of the sith and this one are honestly so beautiful. Anakin being again forced to choose between his allegiance and someone he loves and tbe throne room scene are absolutely incredible story writing. Anakin fulfilled the prophesy and truly brought balance to the force in the end. I love how the character of anakin himself is pure balance. Hes both good and bad and spent the same amount of time on both sides. I want to say more but cant in case you guys plan on watching the animated clone wars movie and tv show (very much reccomend). Loved the reaction as always!

Nathan Jasper

Remember in Episode 3, Palpatine told Anakin to leave Obi-Wan and Anakin said "His fate will be the same as ours" Palpatine, Obi-Wan, and Vader all die on the Death Star. So it actually was true... from a certain point of view ;)

Pierre-Yves Bergeron

Thank you for sharing your reactions with us !! You did change my mind of the order it should abe watched !! Especially after episode 3, You really get the urge to see 4 5 6 ! Am a big fan of the Emperor Palpatine aka Darth Sideous and its crazy cause the actor was younger in ep.6, in episode 1 2 3 he was actually the same age as his character.

Mikael Holmberg

Love that you watched them in order, and with the remastered versions. I knew the final scene with Hayden Christensen would break you 😁 Also, as Spartan said, this is the real story. I would say to avoid the Disney movies altogether. They pretty much spit on the characters you now love.

Luna

The reason why they changed Luke's crystal color to green is to highlight that it's a new weapon altogether, so the audience isn't made to believe he somehow got his old one back.

Henry Valdivia

I had to pause to comment that you going all in with the outfits makes this even better. Excited to see you wrap this up.

Garrett Serbin

Another great Star Wars reaction. Glad you both are enjoying this franchise. You two are going to LOVE The Mandalorian & Andor!!.

Pacmule

I'm glad you folks watched it in this order and it does have different feel to it. I know you folks did Breaking Bad and the opening scene of an episode would forecast and then the story catches up. Works either way. Name this character grew up innocent converted to the dark side, ended up bald, killed multiply people, was in the empire business but saved a person's life who they called their son while killing the head honcho?

Joel Zaborowski

Man...ive always been a release order guy, even for newcomers to the franchise....but you guys might have converted me. I really enjoyed following you on the chronological experience

Michael

This was definitely my preferred viewing order now after following this rewatch. Great costumes!

Pushindazeez

Not a Star Wars fan other than when I saw the first three movies at the theater in the 70s and 80s, but I had to check out your intro and it ROCKS! Great job, guys!!! You two are a breath of fresh air!

Sheri

Fascinating, genuinely surprising and wonderful for me to watch a reaction with people who actually appreciated chronological order! I think most people are just too thrown off by the dated effects and pacing of the originals after watching the prequels. It's just impossible for me to know what it would be like, since I grew up with the original trilogy and watched everything in release order. So this whole experience was wonderful! Thank you! I personally really enjoyed the sequels. I hope you do too.

Diluteplacebo

Hey, they still have Andor and Clone Wars

Cole Troutman

Rogue One and Andor are good. For a first time, at least watching the sequels is a might as well from me (I did watch Solo too when it came out). But THIS is Star Wars, this is where it will always end in my mind. The rest is kinda all corporate cash grab stuff, just my take

Cole Troutman

It's like the first few seasons of TWD vs the book of carol. Not even close to the same. Also I always found it beautiful that Padme's last words were "theres still good in him" and anakins were "you were right"

Jonathanese

See, THIS is why I was excited about it. These things hit so hard when you have 6+ movies of getting to know and love these characters. It's why Machete order exists. 4, 5, then after discovering Vader is his dad, you jump to the prequels to learn his backstory with 1, 2, and 3. Then you come back to the "present" and see Vader, now with all that history behind him. But in YOUR case, the very first impression you get of Anakin is that sweet young boy on Tattooine. After going through the prequels, I feel like there's numerous moments in the OT that hit harder because they carry so much history. Yes, you miss the big "I am your father" reveal, and the "holy shit Luke and Leia are siblings" reveal in EP3 if you watch in Machete order. But what you get in return is an original trilogy that carries a lot more weight behind its words. So that's why I've been excited to see someone watch it in this order. Do revisit the prequels some time, knowing how the story goes.

ChimneyJim

When are you watching the Obi-Wan series?

James Waters

Few things to say, as people have said the only editions of the OT available to watch are the special editions where Lucas added in some updated effects and some lines of dialogue after the prequels thinking it would make more sense. That's why Anakin was there like that, although originally it was a different actor, maybe the same we saw below the mask, but Anakin still always turned up at the end, and it's also why we saw the different planets celebrating, dunno why he didn't think about the Leia's mother conversation when making the prequels though. The original release also had Darth Vader pick the emperor up without saying a word, which I always thought was better and more sudden personally. When the film came out, a lot of people really hated the ewoks much like Jar Jar, which I never related to cos I was very young when I saw these films so I grew up with those things. The lore these six films built is insane and I hope in your free time you will consider delving deeper into it through things like legends novels specifically, or just watch videos about them, cos this universe is very very deep with the lore and it's amazing. So I will eagerly await Andor, and good luck with the sequels, and good luck to everyone in the comment section of the sequels. Those comments will have potential to put the empire vs rebellion to shame really lmao.

TimTakDoh

There's a lot of great Star Wars content with Disney too. You guys are going to love a lot of them. I hope you consider the animated series as well down the road because it's some of the best content of Star Wars overall(characters... oh, you'd love it.) Can't wait for Andor and even Obi Wan series

Farbod

Actually the reason why they changed it from Blue to Green is because Blue would get lost with the blue sky background during Jabba's barge. Thats the only reason it wasn't blue.

Joel

And now, with the death of Palpatine, Anakin has fulfilled the prophecy and brought balance to the Force

Carly

Love the OUTFITS 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Terje Mickelson

Again! I loved this! This whole saga is so perfect. Thinking about everything Anakin has lost in his life is heart-breaking; his childhood through slavery, his mother, his wife, his children, his whole life really. Thank you for reacting to these! Can't wait for more. I really hope you'll watch the Kenobi show also. May the Force be with you all!

Cooper

And mando

Cooper

Mods ban him

Cooper

Anakins force ghost is Anakin before the darkness consumed him. Watching it the way you did is so important for that reason alone, that scene wouldn’t hit at all because you would have no idea who that was other than “is that supposed to be Anakin?”

Elliot

Yes, you are watching the remastered version. This is not what I watched when I was a kid. Much of the graphics was improved and they have added a certain amount of extras to this version. A few extras I noticed were Anakin at the end, it was an older guy in the original. Jabba looked way better, instead of a puppet. They added in a lot of diversity characters into Jabbas area. Black people and an Asian that I noticed. (In line with Hollywoods diversity quotas haha). All ships looked far better. The pit with the creature in it didnt have the head coming out of it. Just a pit with tentacles. Would be far more but been years since I watched the original.

Meredith

Aww what a treat intro! You both look amazing.

Ricky

YES! I am so glad ypu guys loved this movie so much. You are right. Without watching the prequels, you wouldn't have appreciated the OT like this. Such a beautiful story of redemption. It's about how far this man has gone into the darkness, but was able to come back into the light. And seeing Anakin at the end is peak. FYI, originally Anakin is there, but obviously it is another actor. Meaning, that they added the young actor of Anakin, but originally the character was still there. By the way, one small detail from the previous movie: when Leia, Lando and Luke escape in hyperspace from Vader at the very end, Vader remains for a bit staring into space. And the he walks away silently, and does not kill any officer guilty of letting them escape. He was in his own world, thinking about Luke. He was sad. From that moment, we can start inferring Anakin Skywalker was still in there.

Louis PG

when anakin at the end when he is with yoda and obi wan he looks at his legs and he hasn't seen his legs for 23 years when Obi-Wan chopped them off

Ricky

Sort of. I guess they could have made the connection easily, the same way people made the connection back when the movie came out in 1982. But I agree it is better for them to have watched it the way they did

BigTim86

My favorite movie as a child and still one of my favorites today. Great reaction

Nate

Please just stop here 😂 the next 3 movies are so bad

Colton

im gonna have to rewatch it. I enjoyed it on my first watch.

Colton

I never watched 8 and 9 so I may have to watch along with them.

Hans Engelen

Why would she keep the Endor Camouflage outfit for the bedroom?

David Haas

I KNEW that seeing Anakin at the end next to Obi Won and Yoda would break Pudgey. She was doing so well keepin it together, too! Great reactions, y’all! The Kenobi series is also really really good and emotional. A lot of questions answered and character interactions that y’all will LOVE! xx

Kayleb Patel

Nah, the first sequel film is better than the majority of the Phantom Menace in my opinion

Tim Hyden

I used to be adamant that Star Wars should’ve been watched in release order but you guys actually changed my mind. I think the chronological order gives you a stronger connection to the characters. In my mind that’s more important than not being privy to the big twist. Awesome job, guys!

Veilsix

LMFAO you guys are hilarious, love the outfits. What a funny surprise! It was epic to see the chronological version of this series through your eyes. I found myself able to empathize with seeing certain things for the first time from your perspective and felt the added emotional weight despite my history with these movies. One aspect to remember is Anakin was the chosen one- the prophecy is that he would bring balance to the force. The force is one, not good or evil... When one side of the force is too far out of equilibrium such as the light side growing as strong as it did to have a whole Jedi temple and police force across the galaxy... then it must also cast an equal shadow that can grow just as powerful. The Jedi's mistake was in not seeing that they didn't need to treat the dark side as evil but as a complementary side of the force that didn't need to be shunned. The light side grew out of balance and in its shadow came a powerful dark side which then took over the galaxy. It took Anakin skywalker who was taught both sides of the force and knew about heartbreak and loss and resentment and anger unlike most Jedi, who used the love of family that he couldn't let go of in the end- the same thing the Jedi warned him about- used it as motivation to bring down the most powerful Sith Lord and bring the force back into harmony by passing away and leaving the force in balance with Luke- who mirrors his story and also felt those same emotions but kept them in check and refused to let them corrupt him. So since Pudgey wore Leia's typical princes outfit, will Spartan wear her Jabba's bikini prisoner outfit next?

Makayu

Gratz on finishing up all of the Star Wars movies! You were definitely missing some Jabba subtitles on the version that you were watching.

Bryce Storey

I always thought of it as Anakin really being the true chosen one who after his redemption in this movie truly brought balance to the force

Pony

Yessss. I was waiting for this.

Kotlan

George Lucas always said he wanted people to watch it episode 1-6 so y’all did it how he wanted! Also you should seriously watch clone wars

Christopher Wichman

Someone has probably already said it lol. BUT..... The Ewok's def ate the Stormtroopers......

BridgesNotBurned

One of the best reactions to this I’ve ever seen! I was excited to experience it in chronological when I saw that what you were doing, just because I never watched a reaction channel’s first watch in that order, but I never imagined it would be this fantastic and it has converted me especially for modern watches. The way things hit in this order even for me were great, but watching you guys react to this was amazing. Thank you! And the costumes rock! Glad you stuck to what you wanted to do, regardless of other opinions, including the sequel trilogy. I love that you’re going to go into it to experience the world that you’re already in and make up your own mind. These are the ones I’ve seen the least, one of them I’ve only seen once so I’m looking forward to watching them with you.

Austin

Anakin fulfilled the prophecy in the end 🙂 Also, you two look so awesome!

J Lawrence

A tidbit for yall, lightsaber color is actually unrelated to rank. It's more of a force connection to who a jedi is and what crystals they gravitate to (their overall vibe for lack of a better word). With Sith, the crystal starts at its original color, usually blue or green, then the Sith lord "bleeds" the light out of the crystal using the dark side, which turns it red. There were quite a few retouched CGI moments in the original trilogy. Notably, Jabba was originally a human in Episode 4 and emperor different actor in Episode 5. Side note yall should definitely watch the 2003 Clone Wars micro series it's free on youtube now- it's brilliant and same animation as Samurai Jack.

sebi 123

I really enjoyed your journey through this part of the story! But i don't know if you know, The Clone Wars series is also made by George Lucas himself.

Kale

Longtime patreon, don't talk as much... F'ING AMAZING

Scott Johnson

Pudgey, your look great in your costume but I have to admit that I let out an extended "Naaaaawr!" when I didn't see the gold bikini.

Richard Ramirez

This is the 100th comment.. sooo it has to mean something.. :D WATCH CLONE WARS!! we are here for it!! :)

E

you guys should really try watching the clone wars animated series along with the obiwan Kenobi show

Seth bandy

I have never seen 9. And as many reactions as I’ve seen, I now think its time I watched it for the first time, with them

Kelly Myers

I've loved this journey with you two! I love star wars, I grew up with the prequel trilogy, seeing every one in the theater as a teen. I cannot wait for you to see Solo but I really love the most recent trilogy... cannot wait for you two to enjoy! Btw great move doing chronological order, never seen it this way and it was still great! Keep up all your hard work!

LunarioVT

I cannot explain how much I love how they brought in Young Anakin in the after edit. Its a beautiful little touch that just makes me tear up.

Yusuf

I cannot wait for you guys to watch Andor!!! :D

Arrendis

I saw them all in theaters when they first came out. But watching them again in chronological order with you guys, I knew by the end of Episode II how this was gonna play for you guys. And honestly, I was tearing up with you, having watched how much you guys got attached to and invested in Anakin.

Mama Browsss

Leia's memories of her mother are of her adoptive mother. I'm not even sure she knew she was adopted. So when Luke asks her if she has memories of her mother, she's talking about the woman she thought was her mother.

CharliejAnderson

I really hope you guys watch the obi wan series cause I know you guys would love it!

midothegreat

This was the first time I've seen this movie, but i knew about Anakin's force ghost being edited in after in the ending because i remember back in the day a lot of people were talking about it and being upset about it. Now I just realized that the people who were upset about it were the OG starwars fans who didn't like the prequels lmao

Sean K.

I'm already curious to see if the two of them will watch the series Andor, The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan after seeing the movies.

Yoshio

Love the cosplay and your journey! I saw all 6 in the theater at release and I loved it that way, but I now appreciate how chronologically viewing it builds such a deep connection to Anakin which I personally didn't have as much. As part of the 20th anniversary remasters Lucas changed the ending from just the Ewok celebration to galaxy-wide which was awesome when my friends and I saw it in the theatre, it was so rewarding . He also replaced Sebastian Shaw with Hayden. Lucas said the force showed Anakin before he turned to the dark side, but it's also likely it was to connect it to the prequels. While many of us were upset to not see Sebastian any more (remember we grew up with that version) it's great to see that it made the connection for you. For your thoughts about how the prequels are needed for the connection to Yoda, I think it's a testament to how impactful the little we got of Yoda was that he became an icon. The same for Boba Fett who was just a bit part. Sometimes less is more. This is why they made the prequels - the fandom was dying to know the backstory and we waited 16 years for it. I think you have the right mindset going forward - these 6 were Lucas canon, everything is expansion. The exception might be Rogue One + Andor since this was the brainchild of visual effects (VFX) master John Knoll at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) who also was VFX supervisor for the prequels, and his idea to explain why the Death Star had a weakness. Solo had production issues and Ron Howard had to come in and fix it, but I enjoyed it and I think you will too. Can't wait to see your reaction to it and Andor! P.S. Sorry this is so long, but I just remembered Spartan's question about why not a Wookie planet. That was actually Lucas' plan but it was impossible logistically to do it so he pivoted to Ewoks. This is the reason Lucas stopped making them, he wanted ILM to continue developing, which led into their mastery of CGI (Jurassic Park was a big step in this direction for them), so that he could tell the story he really wanted to. That's why The Phantom Menace was made 16 years later.

Miloš 🇷🇸

Now please please watch the short 6 parts of Obi Wan Kenobi it’s perfect after this 👌🏻😭❤️

123 456

What a journey to follow along with you, made me really emotional to rewatch it in this order alongside you! If you liked Rogue One you'll have alot of fun checking out Andor, i'd love if you'd watch that! Its a very down to earth perspective on how regular folk are dealing with the oppression of the empire without having any space magic, just raw emotions and themes, gritty at times and frightenly realistic in tone with insights into what makes people stand up to their oppressors with strong characters and motivations from all sides. It'll also give you more insight how Cassian became who he is in R1 as we've seen him there. You'll also recognize 3 prominent actors from HBO's Chernobyl there aswell who do a fantastic job!

mFFb

This was an amazing journey, thank you guys. Canonically you should jump into the Mandalorian show, since it is set in the post civil war galaxy. But solo is a very fun movie! And Andor is probably the best television in a decade or more, so there is that.

Paul

Chronological order absolutely lands for Vader reforming into Anakin and saving his son, pure poetry. It hits hard without seeing the prequels, but with them, knowing who Anakin was before succumbing to the Dark side... it's perfect.

Paul

Destiny is all ;)

BigTim86

Loved that you ended up doing your own thing; there’s a trade off on the order you watch; in your case it def seems to have worked out nicely. And I love how Spartan said this is George Lucas’ finale. That said, I look forward to seeing the sequel reactions and Solo, and I enjoyed aspects of those movies. Especially The Force Awakens

Guadalupe Rosas

Anakin spent 22.5 years in the light and 22.5 years in the dark perfectly balanced.

Guadalupe Rosas

Also much like Padme, Luke also had faith that there was good in Anakin still. Also Leia remembers Padme because she had her eyes open while born and possibly had dreams of Padme while Luke had his eyes closed

Malorie

I know that the OG trilogy is most people's favorite but im so ready for the next trilogy. it's my favorite

Tassadith

Loved your reactions fo SW! I know it's a long journey but if you really want to explore more of the original story, Anakin, Obi, Yoda and others you should watch Clone Wars, difficult to believe but it's the best of Star Wars, it's very well written, emotional and it completes the journey so well. The Clone Wars series happen between Attack of the clones and Revenge of the Sith.

PongPong31

Incredible reaction. Going on this journey with the two of you was some experience. While I may not be a total convert, consider me and my eyes opened to the wonders of chronological order. This was the perfect route to take for you guys. Glad you did. And it's still not over, with so much more to come. Looking forward to it all!

Iris

If you think about it aswell Padme's last words were "I know there's still good in him". Like mother like son, and they were right :') Also yes Anakin at the end is obviously digitally altered after the prequels, it was the actor for older Anakin/Vader before. I really enjoyed the decision and reaction of you watching in chronological order! Creates a unique fun experience

GodhandJames

Man I know nobody wants to watch Clone wars because its 7 seasons but like after your reaction to this finale of the original 6 movies, I feel like you guys would love it.

Anthony Winwood

When I got my daughters to watch these films, I did it in an odd order. 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, Rogue One, then 6. There are some jokes in 1, 2, and 3 that rely on having seen 4, 5, and 6, but if you watch 6 before the first 3 then you already know how it ends for Anakin and I felt it would take away from watching the first 3. Ultimately I don't think it really matters what order you watch in. When you get to the end you always want to go back and watch the other 3 again.

Nate

Y’all should check out “obiwan has ptsd” on YouTube! Amazing edit

Dalion Dareacta

What was always sick to me about Vaders ending was that he ends up fulfilling his destiny as the chosen one by killing the sith which ended being him and Palpatine. So Anakin does end up bringing balance to the force, it was just not how you would have expected it to happen.

PIG

You guys changed my mind. I think you did it in the right order, as Lukas intended, with your points made. Glad it connected with ye both.

DRIP DROP

We skipping 7-9 and doing mandalorian now?

Jlkvc

I hope you guys just give the sequels a sneaky pass😂

Fantastic reaction guys, and I’m so glad you didn’t this way. As someone who grew up with the prequels, the OT only works for me as a pay off. Which is why of these groups of movies I like RoTJ over the more popular - empire strike back.

On Anakin and Padme and their children. Someone once made a TikTok edit that highlighted that Leia is Anakin’s daughter (she had his hot headedness) but Luke is Padme’s son (her calm and her belief). And the video also showed how Leia actually looks so much like Anakin and Luke looks like Padme. In the end, it took the one that looked like Padme to convince Anakin to turn back. He remembered, he og did all of this to save Padme, so to see her die infront of him again, he couldn’t do it.

They have Andor still too come. What an IMMENSE TREAT

Great reaction guys, really good stuff! Ill be staying here to continue the journey. I feel like you guys dont need to over explain to us why you decide to continue with the disney movies, dont let the public opinion overshadow any enjoyment you may find there. Me personaly i think there is 1 particular movie you are yet to watch thats like top 3 star wars for real. And people who dismiss the whole trilogy like its 100% all bad are of a very "purist" narrow pov. There's some bad stuff for sure (especially towards the end lol) but i think you guys will love 7 and 8 for sure, so see you around ;)

Guys please do "Clone Wars" animated series. Especially Season 7.. it connects right into revenge of the Sith. and you will absolutely get emotional and love it. you are now perfectly set up for the clone wars so you can meet Ashoka, Anikans Padawan.. she's become a beloved character in Star Wars. The first couple seasons of clone wars is definitely more suited to kids but it gets darker and more intense.. watch them from beginning to get the pay off in season 7.

Dirk Diggler

"I don't know who I want to win" - said no one ever during Luke and Darth Vader's lightsaber... except for Pudgey.

Bigt249

oh god intro was abit cringe but ya having fun but yeah been waiting for this one

John Moore

This was a lot of fun! Glad you both got into it so much. I'm planning to watch with my nephews for the first time soon and I think I'm going to go in this order, it works a lot better than I realized. While I'm not a fan of the sequels and what they did to the characters and how they chose to move the story forward, I hope you find enjoyment in them like others have. Andor and the first 2 seasons of the Mandalorian are great though! I'll be watching regardless because I'm curious what your thoughts will be as fresh viewers who haven't been with these characters for decades.

I was so tempted to jump right to the end when a certain someone returns as a Force Ghost to see your reaction but I'll be good and watch the whole thing lol

Corsle 20

You should watch The Clone Wars TV show! It makes the whole prequel trilogy ten times more complete and emotional. You can clearly see the fall of Anakin Skywalker, and you get to know the clones as well.

Viper King

Yeah chronological order always has a satisfying ending, and if u watched the kenobi series it wouldve hit even more because it adds more emotion, hope u guys react to it

Tyler Janes

I will say at 1st I was skeptical of the watch order!! But it totally works and I watch them that way as well after the initial watch in theaters The emotion you had watching all the way through definitely was just as emotional seeing the characters younger in the prequels knowing what was going to happen. Ending with Luke and Leia being born. I think that either way you chose Pudgey would have been crying. I will say seeing Yoda for the 1st time fighting in episode 2, the entire theatre was screaming!!

iPhil0x

damn im like the only one who likes them huh lol

iPhil0x

i love 1,2,3 the most but i dont understand the hate on the last trilogy tbh.

iPhil0x

pls dont lol

Aaron Ebel

Yeah that last scene when anakin appears makes the 1 through 6 order so worth it. Luke and vaders relationship means so much more when you’ve seen the prequels first.

Adam Ramirez

So I was against you're watching in chronological order but man the weigh it gives you when you know Anakin's story, I think I may just start suggesting a chronological watch from now on to newcomers. Also, if you recall, Padme told obiwan on her death bed that there was good in him, she said "I know there's still good in him"

Arwen24

Incredible reaction and journey!! Thanks for really getting it. The themes, nuances, character arcs, everything !

Andrew Nyberg

Pudgey makes a better Leia than Carrie Fisher did!! And I think Spartan would be better as Han Solo!!

Isaac Wood

How can I hear the audio of the movie ? I can only hear you guys ?

Kristoffer

Should have focused on Obi Wan more
