Fun fact! The director actually toned down his heroism in the movie, he cut out some of the things he did because he feared audiences wouldn’t find them believable! Amazing movie ☺️

Timmy Saxton

Letters from Iwo Jima is a great movie from the Japanese perspective as Pudgy mentioned directed by Clint Eastwood. It actually juxtaposes The movie by Clint Eastwood “Flags of our Fathers”. Same battle, two movies and two sides 🫡

You guys should 100% watch "Enemy at the Gates" And FOR THE SAKE OF at least suggesting it. The YT Video "The Fallen of WW2"

John Neiberger

This movie kills me every time I watch it. It's unbelievable, but it actually happened. Desmond Doss is truly one of the greatest heroes this country has seen.

The Japanese were seriously evil at the time, look up the history of the Rape of Nanjing and you'll see why there isnt many stories from their side.

Josh Cox

Theres also lots of accounts of Japanese soldiers saying they tried to shoot doss in the war and multiple of them say as they pulled the trigger to doss there guns jammed, he really was protected by god that day

Micah Mann

Great reaction. This movie is just one gut punch after another. I was crying at my desk at work just listening to you two. And don’t sleep on Andrew Garfield. Incredible actor.
