---------------------------------------------------------------------------Full Length Reaction GuideWe take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

Download this google chrome extension so once you manually sync the videos up, the extension will keep both videos synced up when you play/pause, move around in the video, etc (can also pick up where you left off if you close the windows.) Also supports videos that need to be slowed down/sped up, so you can choose the correct speed in the extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/video-sync/npplmbdcndipnaemaoljdppjodakaicn?authuser=0&hl=en&pli=1

Use Google chromes picture in picture mode to overlay your own copy of the show over our reaction in a smaller window size (Link to the extension here: ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en )

The writing in the first two episodes here is SOOOOO rushed. “Quick! We have to get rid of the kids as fast as possible!” I will always wonder how Clyde Phillips would have handled Season 5. He really wrote his successor into a corner didn’t he?

Kirill D.

Poor little raccoon.

Ya gotta love Quinn thinking Angel was telling him about his money..."tell the leiutenant to keep her fuckin hands off." 😂😂

Brody Reeks

The intro talk is great a introspective on the episode.

spartanandpudgey

why did the original director leave after writing a peak season?

Daniel

Such a good question... during the interviews after he announced his departure, he had said that after the 3rd season, he really began thinking about leaving the show. As I recall, he said that the show was so demanding that he was missing major moments in his kids lives. He had written and run the first four seasons. So from the time that he was brought on in 2005 to the season finale of Season 4 (Christmas time of 2009) was five years. THey had shot a pilot in fall of 2005, they didn't like it - so he came in and did extensive reshoots, which they then aired in fall of 2006. He said he just needed a break and wanted to spend time with family.

Michael

I don’t like how they did Batista this episode. He’s got a big heart but this new direction seems out of left field. Over money? He’s better than that.

You guys finishing S4 on Youtube was the tipping point for me to come over to Patreon — S5 is my favorite season, and your reactions are always great! Going to be binging these until I pass out tonight. 😂

I also love S5 (I would rank it as my second favorite season behind Resurrection S1). I have always found it to be a surprising kind of salve for what happened in S4 and I appreciate the showrunners went the route they did. I particularly love how it mirror previous seasons in certain ways but with very different conclusions (more hopeful/positives ones) Spoilers! (Just in case anyone else read this) Stuff like Quinn dropping his investigation into Dexter (thus preventing him from ending up like Doakes) And the big one being Dexter actually having a positive impact on Lumen and helping her to remove the darkness inside. (she serves as a contrast against Lila and Miguel)

Zane Platt

I don't think it was really about the money. He was hurt because they were supposed to be honest with each other and she wasn't
